We make up an entirely new game that is fantasy driven

We make up an entirely new game that is fantasy driven.

And also post some art that would go good in this game.

You are a druid that uses plants for everything. Depending on whats around you, you can arm yourself with different kinds

Nah let's make up something cooler.

You are an engineer that uses machines for everything. Depending on whats around you, you can arm yourself with different kinds

You are fisher boy from fisher village.
One day your crush gets kidnapped and you embark on an epic quest to save her and get laid. You overcome countless trials and eventually find her in the capital of EVIL EMPIRE, where she became a lazy slob of a concubine and totally not hot at all but the EVIL WHITE EMPEROR acknowledges your huge balls and you two become BFFs.
The End.

Hmmmm I said fantasy driven not sci fi, also no.
Let's make up something cooler.

>entirely fantasy driven
OPs sex life

You are an OP that uses excuses for everything. Depending on who replies to your thread, you can post shitty responses.

You have to be pretty fucking bored to be on my thread to post stupid shit like this...

It's a VN that never gets finished

How about a totally different setting than what you are already used to.
A totally different set of races, totally different set of magic powers and such, might still use some aspects of familiar fantasy though.
There can be level gimmicks and also different quests you can take, you get different spells and attacks with your weapons, you can ride a winged creature, the monsters can range from somewhat hard to HOLY FUCK NO OH GOD STAY AWAY, and the story can be beautiful.

What in the fuck happened to games?

The reluctant hero must leave his village and go on a sprawling adventure to retrieve the artifact/save the girl/stop the evil resurgence

Maybe...

Maybe the game could have crystals as a mechanic.

fantasy world where cunny is legal

shut

Difference for its own sake is typically the masturbatory flights of fancy championed by people who hate the genres they're trying to impose their garbage on.

What?

It's already garbage

SJWs fucking suck lardass, what I meant by "different races" was different sentient creatures you FUCK.
Like maybe some weird reptilian creature humanoid or some shit or something idk.

Dunno where you read SJW in that post. I said what I meant and meant what I said. I'll make it simpler because I admittedly butchered it.

Making stuff "different" is dumb shit for dumb people that don't like the normal shit. Going into world building thinking "things gotta be different yo" is going to shit up the product with dumb ideas you've put in just to appear original. Your dumb reptilian humanoid garbage is already in every D&D-derived fantasy setting ever and the fact you don't know that is telling. Suck a dick, retard.

Pretty sure that's his point. You seem to not like the genre, stay out of it.

You are a homunculus that uses biological parts of his enemies for everything. Depending on what you've fought, you can arm yourself with different kinds.

I honestly thought about making this before realizing I'm a shitty programmer with no experience in making vidya.

That reptile shit was only an example I was giving, I'm not actually implementing it.
I'm not trying to appear different to just simply be different, I want to make it somehow work.

Based
Literal water brained zipperhead mongoloid pseudo intellectual retards

You guys really seem to really care about me changing up a few things in my own idea for a fantasy world...
Why CAN'T I make up different creative shit? Hmmmm? I thought creativity was supposed to be praised.

Game is set in a european medieval setting.
You're a guy who wakes up in a cell in some dungeon somewhere surrounded by fucked up monster people who don't speak any english. you escape the cell and realize you're the only human left. Every town you go to is full of monster things. There are no humans left. The only people who speak english are scholar monsters, but in order to contact them you have to sneak around or wear a disguise or you will be attacked on site by guards. You are regularly hunted by the monsters. You have to spend the entire story uncovering what happened to all the humans.

Eventually, through digging around, you find out that thousands of years ago some bioweapon was detonated in a tier 1 civilized earth which destroyed all infrastructure and sent the world into the dark ages, and also inadvertently turned all the humans into deformed monsters. the bioweapon fucks with memories, so no one remembers the past, but they are all the same people from thousands of years ago. The monsters who were holding you prisoner are actually a hyper-advanced sect that learned the truth and now uses past-human technology, and is attempting to cure themselves and turn themselves back into humans along with the rest of the planet. You realize that to them, you are actually a monster who terrorizes them by sneaking into their towns, killing guards, etc.
Over the course of the story you also learn that the kingdom knows about the technocult and plans to raid them soon. From there you have to choose to either rid the world of them and let things be how they are, since things don't seem that bad for the "monsters", or go back to the technocult with an translator and warn them of the assault. If you warn them, you can use your hand print to unlock an armory, put on some cool space armor and laser gun/sword, and fight your way through hundreds of sword and spear wielding fodder enemies.

Choose to let the raid happen, the cult dies and you stay the monster

You're literally putting words in my mouth, I'm not those other guys fucker, I'm not making something different for the sake of being different, I'm making something different and being creative about it, are you mentally retarded?
You piss me off, bye fucker.

>Like maybe some weird reptilian creature humanoid or some shit or something idk
Damn dude, now that's creative.

Forgot pic

I did not actually mean make the reptiles, I was saying it AS AN EXAMPLE FOR BEING A DIFFERENT SPECIES, I AM NOT SAYING IT IS CREATIVE, I AM NOT SAYING USING A REPTILE HUMANOID IS DIFFERENT, IT IS AN EXAMPLE OF A DIFFERENT SPECIES TO MAKE SURE YOU KNEW THAT I WASN'T TALKING ABOUT DIFFERENT HUMANS. I WOULD OBVIOUSLY COME UP WITH SOMETHING WAAAY MORE DIFFERENT THAN A REPTILIAN HUMANOID.

I put it in big words to make sure you could read it. I hope it was helpfulll.

as long as the differences aren't just blatantly there for the sake of being different
eschewing traditional conventions can be ok but if the point of it is to say "hey look! we're different!" it usually actually ends up being noticeably bereft of creativity
one example of someone doing something a little different while still making use of traditional conventions is the elves in Divinity
they take the whole "children of nature" trope and give it a fresh spin by making them literally tree people

Yes, they are not like that, I was gonna do way more than just simply doing that stuff, the writing and all of it has to make sense and the shit has to be original, not in the generic way though.

Maye making the environments a little differenty too would bring life to this game combined with an original story instead of just being "hey we're different guuuyyys".

What type of game would it be though... Maybe it could be a platformer and action adventure type with some rpg elements.

Fantasy isn't allowed to have machines? This is a gay no-fun-allowed thread.

>I thought creativity was supposed to be praised.
You're entitled to nothing, cunt. When you put your ideas out in a public environment you must also understand that they are open to criticism at that point. Nobody is thought-policing you, they're telling you your idea sounds dumb and ill-conceived. Do whatever you want with it.

>he doesn't realize that nearly every good fantasy media has elements that would be at home in a sci-fi product
broaden your horizons a little bit, fantastical mechanical creations are still fantasy

>people offer suggestions
>naaaahhhh let's do something else :)
>somehow op is in the right

I'm sorry I thought the guy was trolling when he said mechines, I didn't think he meant machines that were magic/fantasy elemented, my bad, carry on.

This made me think on how druids are always given the raw end of the stick. I can only think of them being playable in MMOs or other games where you're just picking them out of a class list, which severely limits what can be done with them.
Imagine a game where the player character is a druid and the world is build around you needing to magically interact with plants and animals in order to progress, that could have tons of interesting potentials.

And I admit I was wrong, sorry, I gotten too far.

Summer already?

No cuz I can hear busses driving by the neighborhood.

What other idea do we got? I like the ones already made here, can we have more?

the fuck is this thread? am I on reddit?

>bumping it
Fuck you, pal.

He's an attentionfag, he should either try to talk about making a fantasy game idea or leave.

truman show style, start in small village, things start falling apart at the seams, alternate dimensions leaking in, alien creatures and you have to climb a great mountain to the tower at the top
