It still puzzles me why they released RE4 on GameCube first, it's a pretty dark game and the main character gets decapitated by a chainsaw.

Nintendo has always been weirdly inconsistent with R rated games

On my actual Gamecube? Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness 3 years ago, but both the disc reader and that disc itself especially were showing their age. I've been a little bummed out recently since I can't find my copy of Animal Crossing or the Zelda Collection anywhere; I can afford to replace both of them but I kept my cases in such pristine condition for nearly 20 years.

I just built a new computer though so I'll be revisiting Sunshine on Dolphin really soon, just need to pick up a Mayflash adaptor.

I may not be a boomer but I'm not exactly a zoomer either. Social media wasn't a thing until I was in middle school. I didn't have a smartphone until high school. I remember when Youtube first became a thing. Current "zoomer culture" wasn't really a thing until the tail end of high school for me so thankfully my mind didn't get completely poisoned by it. I honestly hate to think how I would have turned out had I been born just 5-10 years later.

Who cares? Most good modern games are multiplatform. Short of Nintendo and the very occasional good Sony game, you can play anything that comes out on PC. PC can play literally any game in existence short of console exclusives from the last 10 years. If you can't find something to play you just have shit taste.
