I played through this game and got all endings. Turns out plenty of people hate this shit and for good reason too, since it dropped. Nobody's being contrarian about this.

I played it for about 30 hours before I lost interest. The game is okay. The combat is okay. It's all just okay. if I could go back I wouldnt have bought it on sale.

The combat is actually quite robust but executing a good long combo is clunky as fuck.

I didn't like the story that much, but I didn't play the first Nier so a lot of references flew over my head
All of the main characters you play as in this game are really bland, with 9S being a horrible character. The girls are sexy with 2B having a great visual design but that's the best thing I can say about the main playable characters.

Unironically one of the greatest games released this entire decade. If not EVER.

Fascinating plot and themes, touching story, fun and very varied gameplay, killer OST, pretty visuals. It is an all around solid package, and refreshingly non-patronizing game for the modern times. The ending made me bawl, and that's great.

You can ignore anyone trolling you with "muh ass!" and "bad combat!".

you can finish the whole fucking game under 30 hours, if you really just wanna push through the main plot queue and nothing else. You do miss fuck tons of extra story and lore details by doing that though, which would be a mistake.

I personally took my sweet time because I fucking loved the game. No joke, at 30 hour mark, I had only just unlocked the fast travel on the A -route.
