Anyone who claims it's 100% canon is a dumb fujo who refuses to acknowledge that baiting it was Bamco's way of ensuring that at least some audience would fiercely protect the game despite most of nearly everything about it being absolutely terrible. Kinda saddening since I enjoy both their character types but it's hard finding things with them that don't just ride this widespread headcanon.
I agree with both of these, in general I feel tales games do well with them most of the time.

LUCT was Quest, dumbass. Square grabbed a bunch of the staff afterwards and had them make FFT.
And it was an improvement from MotBQ and 64's RNGfest. I do think a hybrid of the RTS map/tactics battles could've been done, though.

Ok so here's the thing. In the game, they weren't gay. Even in the manga. But because of how retarded Baba treated the game and the backlash he got from fans, in the anime, they instead asked the studio to make Sorey and Mikleo gay for each other. Then they also made Alisha and Rose gay for each other just to finally stop the fans of the series.

Baba almost ruined the Tales franchise. Good thing Berseria at least was able to salvage it back somehow. Now Baba's gone and even his new game has been cancelled. Fuck that guy.
