It's like Sony never left.
But seriously, what's big enough and still running in their roster besides Stranger Things and Black Mirror to warrant some other media spinoff?

Kevin Spacey simulator.
Who the hell would want to play a game based off some dumb Polish fantasy books?
They are literally doing a Dragon's Dogma anime. Have you ever heard of that game, user?
Castlevania still has another season coming, but that requires Konami to care enough to develop a Castelvania the Animation inspired CV3
This is about turning their shows and movies into games, not the other way around.
e3 is about games not some shitty tv shows
Oh. I figured they were there to turn more games into shows. Disregard me.
>Netflix at E3 2019
What?
Could have fooled Microsoft back when the Xbone was announced.
Just a reminder that streaming games would have never even been taken into consideration if PC gamers said "no" to Steam and digital distribution
>blaming PC gamers
>only remotely viable game streaming stuff is on console
>nobody likes it anywhere
Yeah, calm down kiddo, your PSNow or whatever the fuck they called that shitty PS3 thing isn't on my PC.
>Alucard doesn't use a sword like he's traditionally portrayed with in his Symphony redesign, and is basically inferior to Trevor across the board
>literally have to create a new design for Grant who doesn't even appear in the cartoon
Can't wait.
I feel like black Mirror would make an interesting video game if its more like Persona 1 and 2 which had a great focus on mental diseases coming to life
Not him but Microsoft did show only games at E3 2013 in June, you're getting it confused with the Xbone reveal a month earlier in May of 2017.
>narrative driven experience
>video game
What.
Shoutouts to the user I saw call out Death Stranding being on Netflix.
>Electronic Expo
>No electronics are shown
>Just TV shit
My local Star Wars Expo became a popular Comic con. Fuck my life, I hate normalfags so fucking much.
But what shows of theirs would they make into games? Mindhunter would be cool
>It's like Sony never left.
Kek
But what movies/shows?
post the netflix adaption image macros
People want convenience and all the masturbation over "principles" is just dusty jizz at the end of the day. Everybody understands the disadvantages and implications of having a digital library and buying licenses but accepts the conveniences of it over physical media.
Streaming was really coming into being alongside Youtube and Steam's infancy. We've come a long way from Youtube compressing the shit out of everything and making it look like a blurry gif but you still rated it 5 stars because they still used stars back then. Webcams aren't crude anymore, we have pretty high quality streaming and an entire industry based off people playing games live, not to mention all the shit you can do with your phone.
Someone was always going to talk about streaming a game's footage with a minor delay instead of running it off the platform owner's hardware. 10 years ago they tried it with GameTap. The world and our technologicla prowess is a different beast from a decade ago, and that's why the powers that be are going in on it again.
Sony was never there to begin with. You could watch the 2016 Sony conference and get the exact same info as the 2017 and 2018 ones because all they had to show off was Detroit Become Human, Last of Us 2, and Spiderman. They aren't going this year because they don't have anything actually good lined up now that those three finally released 3 years late.
>they are doing to E3 what they did to San Diego Comic Con
The writing is on the wall. General Pop Culture Event 3 here we come!
I heard they're working on a Narcos game.
METAL
GEAR
That Castlevania anime is pretty cool. I bet they could make a good game about it. Like a turn-based RPG or something.
Kingdom could make for a pretty rad Left 4 Dead/COD Zombies kind of game.
>emphasis on melee weaponry and single-shot ranged weapons like the matchlock rifles and bows
>big variety in environments from farmland and villages to medieval Korean castles
>It's like Sony never left
KEK
I have only watched the first half of it so far but dragon pilot please.
Single franchise conventions are dumb.
They're specifically talking about video games so the innate spirit of E3 is preserved.
Oh god, they're going to announce more shit adaptations aren't they?
Were Witcher and Dragon's Dogma not enough? Are they going to expect anyone to be hyped or the Castlevania show anymore? Are they expecting anyone to be hyped at all for the RE show, one that's not based on the game but the atrocious movies?
Look at the image, the presentation is about turning Netflix properties into games, not the other way around.
>The world and our technologicla prowess is a different beast from a decade ago
In terms of game streaming, not really. There's still an obvious delay. They haven't found a way to beat the laws of physics.
>Doing an anime
>Not a sequel
ITSUNOOOOOO
Jesus fuck. It already looks awful.
I just hope these videogames aren't streaming only
Especialy if they do imagine a flight game with massive input lag, it would be unplayable.
I liked what they did with Issac, and that whole castle battle at the end was unironically kino. Looking forward to the next season
Oh boy, I've always wanted an Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt game
Seriously though, that's fucking dumb and I doubt even Netflix would be stupid enough to dedicate an entire conference to it. That fucking Stranger Things game alone looks as standard and boring an indie game as you can possibly make.
Make a game based off the truck theft short from love death and robots.
Can't wait for the new Orange is the New Black prison life game....
Hey wait, there's no source in the OP. We've been had!
Oh. Thank you.
>not wanting a lesbian prison simulator
>Seven deadly Sin: tournament edition
>Black mirror episode 1 (by telltale)
>bird box DayZ edition
I've never seen Love, Death, and Robots but I've heard that's one of three good episode with the rest being dogshit, but I digress.
I don't really want any adaptation of Netflix's garbage. Because I tell from here they would be generic indie shit aping the style of whatever NES/SNES game they picked from a hat
>We really need to push She-Ra, and boy gee wiz Legend of Zelda was a thing, everyone will love if they were put together
I wouldn't mind that if it was a 3d Zelda clone
The last Zelda was open world trash and darksiders 3 was a souls clone.
I don't keep in touch with television much so I want to thank you for letting me know this exists. Looks like my type of shit.
>Indie trash
>doing being competent to do a 3D Zelda clone
You're funny user
Loves death and robots was almost all good, there were some mild liberal influence in a couple of the shorts but nothing major, the final shot of good hunting was maybe a little on the nose in that regard.
I didn't watch alternate histories because absolutely everybody said it was garbage.
Wait a second isn't next gen Netflix original.
That would be An amazing game, especially if they backed it up with tencent money since it was a Chinese production.
Also Netflix has done a lot of tv shows for DreamWorks, puss in boots could be cool.
>Secret War
>robot road bandits
>that one with the people mindlinking into genetically engineered monsters for underground fights to the death
>the one with the vampire monsters
>Shape-Shifters
>Alternate Histories if just for its "kill Hitler simulator" wackiness
>Lucky 13
>space farmers piloting giant mecha to fight off waves of aliens
Love, Death and Robots ripe for vidya premises.
Don't forget the guy producing the Castlevania cartoon is also doing a Devil May Cry series.
Will they make a video game out of this Devil May Cry franchise?
We getting another interactive tv show on Netflix like the Bear Grylls one?
Neo yokio beat em up
>SNOY SNOY SNOY xD
She-Ra could probably make for an okay 2D Zelda clone, in all honesty.
HA and people said Sony wasnt going to e3
>(by telltale)
Is someone going to tell him?
Butthurt snoyboi detected.
We need somebody to come forward as a spiritual success to telltale
>nobody was talking about Snoy
Obsessed.
