what are your expectations for this? will it be as good as Hollow Knight?
Hollow Knight: Silksong
It'll be better
It'll be good if nothing else.
I just beat hollow knight. I heard there were multiple endings. I got the one where. you beat the hoolow knight and turn into him or something
Now how do I go about entering the multiple dlcs the game has.
you didn't even beat the game faggot
Some of the gameplay vids seemed a little clunky, hope that isn't the case. The controls were what made 99% of the first game.
Yes I did. Just got an achievement for it.
Honestly everything looks like an improvement, specially the platforming. The formalized quest system worries me since I don't want to farm materials or do fetch quests.
I hope we get to know what happens to Hallownest and which ending is canon
Go max the dream nail and talk to White Lady
The Bug Legend of Zelda to the first game's Bug Dark Souls.
>dlcs
One of them is late game stuff in town and in the sewers.
One of them is in the Howling Cliffs upper-left of the map.
One of them is in another part of the sewers.
They'll keep upping the difficulty past what was already pretty crazy in HK's DLC's and it will be another Dark Souls 2 situation where everyone but hardcore "git gud" fags hate the game.
>implicating DS2 is that difficult
Also I doubt they'll make it that difficult, you have a lot more tools this time around afterall.
People seem to forget that 90% of the game is actually pretty easy. The fact that Pantheon of Hallownest dwarves every other challenge immensely distracts most people from that
>what is NKG
>what is Path of Pain
>what is Trial of the Fool
>They'll keep upping the difficulty past what was already pretty crazy in HK's DLC's
I sure hope so.
really hope they don't make the insanely difficult DLC ending/s canon, would be a stupid move considering like 1% of people have beat it
>Trial of the Fool
>difficult
Optional superboss added after the game
Optional super fucking hidden platforming challenge added after the game that doesnt even give you a reward.
Optional super arena that doesnt give you a reward.
The only people "forced" to do these things are 100% fags, but they got memed extra hard by The PATH anyway.
No, you need to get the void heart and max out the dream nail, then dream nail the hollow knight when Hornet attacks him
Not everything has to be for everybody, hermano.
I'd done the first four pantheons with all bindings before I beat TotF. Different people are good at different aspects of the game.
>what are your expectations for this?
Unlikely to be as good as HK, because the world has more one-hit wonders than consistent improvements.
Plus, the devs have been seen asking Reddit for advice. Reddit is a woman-respecting shithole where you can't tell anyone the objective truth about what they're doing wrong without some useful idiot doing it FOR FREE and stepping in to protect some faggot's "feelings".
So I'd say it's going to be garbage.
But we'll see.
>They'll keep upping the difficulty past what was already pretty crazy in HK's DLC's
Cool, I can't wait. Completely optional and also brutally difficult shit is my jam.
Only about half of their players beat the first Hornet fight. Should they avoid referencing anything past that point too?
They should stick to whatever their artistic vision is rather than pandering to people who are shit at video games.
It's more like if every board on Yea Forums had the level of circlejerking of a /vg/ thread. Assimilate yourself into the hivemind or get the fuck out.
Fuck that. They should read in your Hollow Knight save/achievements and lock some content off for anyone who didn't get the true ending. Really upset the crybabies.
You could get around the "nobody got this ending" problem by just opening Silksong with that ending.
Please, reddit isn't THAT bad. At least on reddit if a random image of two legs in thigh socks to a thread where it's unrelated, people will ignore it or tell it to go away, rather than responding with "MOAR PLS" "sauce" "unf so hot" "got discord cutie?" or otherwise derailing into tranny hookups.
Also I just realised I went from unironically bashing reddit to unironically defending reddit in two posts purely because someone mentioned that /vg/ exists.
/vg/ is a special kind of cancer.
Now that I think about it, I changed my mind.
As long as the Hollow Knight devs DON'T LISTEN TO /vg/ then the game will be fine.
