I just started Persona 4 Golden two days ago, guess I finished the prologue, I was enjoying the story and suddenly the game just starts throwing mechanics at you like social links, persona fusions, day management, events, character deaths if you don't save them on the other world... What a fuck, I was enjoying the mystery but now the game transformed into a big chore. This is my first persona, things eventually get less chaotic?

christ this is such hilariously bad advice you sound like such a tryhard. If you hate the dialogue/characters/story you'll hate persona 4. end of. the dungeons are seperated by long lengths of slice of life, and are also pretty underwhelming in terms of design. You should just play an SMT game if you hate most things about it.

Levels - In dungeons, look for golden hands running around and run up to them and hit them. They allow you to power level at rates that would normally not exist. Once you kill them, go up or down a level, and look for some more!
S-Ranks - Just use a guide. There's a lot of guess work involved, since you don't get the proper notifications like in Persona 5.
Persona Fusions: Golden introduced the cheat sheet which allows you to see the results before even blindly fusing Personas (unlike in the original version of 4).
Day management: Either boost your personal stats by reading/visiting the noodle shop or boost your S-Ranks.
Events - Read a guide, those can be tricky.

Oh and if you're entirely new to SMT/Persona games, here's the most important piece of advice:
DO NOT EQUIP PERSONAS WITH ELEMENTAL WEAKNESSES ON YOUR MC
Especially early in the game when you don't know what you're doing and this new Persona you just found seems powerful. You'll get one shot and party wiped with no way to even heal, they'll just keep staggering you on their first turn till you die. And then you'll have to reload the save from the very start of the dungeon because fuck you this game's save system is bullshit.
