This is good advice. Try to be aware of where your team is and help them. Too many people seem to just complain when teammates under perform as a way to excuse themselves. You have no way to change that, so the only thing you can do to increase your odds of winning is to be aware of what you and your team are doing and try to cover for anything that is lacking. The game is mostly about positioning.

In general you'll probably pick up a thing or two by watching good gameplay too, so maybe try watching some streams. For Splatoon, seeing gameplay will say a lot more than text.

I think this was a side effect of having a controller with a screen where they needed a wireless method faster than the standard bluetooth connection rather than the gyro itself. I doubt we will be getting back to that reduced input delay any time soon, which is really a shame. However, it is also impressive how quickly people can adjust and compensate. You will adjust too.

Ill give it another shot but someone who got to S+ with a DS,TTS and bamboozler it kills me to play so bad. I got to like around A at the moment but I felt like IU would adjust already. I feel like trying to rely on muscle memory is fucking me but the gamepad was responsive and had size and weight which allowed for finer movements. I can adjust but I need a gun like DS where it can handle multiple ranges JS and SSP I don't do to well with in comparison and that was true in my case regarding splatoon 1 as well. The new DS is trash and I hate all dualies so its making it a little harder to learn admittedly.
It discouraged me so much I didn't even bother with the story or DLC even though I loved it in the first game.

normally i'd agree, but literally the best battles and fun is locked behind X rank, people actually know what they're doing there which makes the game 100 times more fun
