After the whole Snoy censorship debacle, having to start over on making the next Senran Kagura game just about entirely from the ground up, Takaki (Senran creator) leaving Marvelous because of Snoy, Marvelous' president stepping down because of illness, will this franchise ever be the same?
Is the new title even gonna feel like a Senran game? Will future titles be even more forced on censorship?
This series has been iconic in its own right ever since the debut on the 3DS. The games never had any problem as big as what Snoy has forced it into.
They made it so you couldn't touch the girls in the dressing room. That wasn't core gameplay.

I kinda don't think it's going to die completely, but I kinda wonder what the future really has in store. Like pointed out, Takaki is still director for HP so I don't think things are going to turn out as catastrophic as people think, but the mid-development changes for Seven are concerning. Hopefully, they can finish off whatever contracts they have with Sony (Assuming they do have them) and move on to other platforms. If SK really is toast, I may be sorta OK with it as long as Seven has a good sendoff.

Right now Senran Kagura is nothing but another gacha franchise, I need to see 7even gameplay to believe it actually exists right now. At this point I don't really care for an ending, because I know it won't be satisfying one anyways. I'm also kind of neutral towards possible spinoffs, just hope if another one happens in the future, it includes all the girls and not just the 5 from refle and peach ball.

It kind of feels like a fate well deserved for SK. After DC underperformed it felt like they stopped trying to put effort in and just wanted to milk the series for what it was worth. Plus at this rate I dont think fans of either DoA or SK really care about the series going back to a more serious approach. The whales just want to overdose on fanservice and don't care about quality, and since they're the money companies may as well give it to them.
