ive been trying to get gunslinger for a few weeks now, every time i beat lich with paradox i just get a really shit run with the slinger himself and cant manage to beat the doublich

i need to git gud

I've tried and tried and tried to like this game, but it just doesn't feel fun to me. I like roguelikes/roguelites, I like top-down shooting, I like shmups and bullet hells, but this game just elicits nothing from me. I hope you guys have fun though.

I suck at this game so much. I can beat Isaac Delirium easily. But I can barely make it two or three stages into this game.

Turbo mode actually makes the game easier

You waste all your luck with paradox, save all the good luck for slinger.

Everything has too much health, it makes the game very slow-paced.

It takes like four bullets to kill a basic enemy in this game, and it takes six for them to kill you. Nuclear Throne has roughly half that amount.

My Xbox crashed when i shot myself with the bullet that can kill the past as the gunslinger. Sad times

I'm bad at vidya and it took me around 45-ish hours before I was able to kill a character's past for the first time (on pc). I recently bought the ps4 version, and I killed the hunter's past on my fourth run, which is the same gameplay time of around 4 hours. You just gotta keep playing and memorizing enemy attacks until you git gud, but once you do, you'll stay good.

People say turbo mode helps with this.

I can't bring myself to get into it though, because you move faster. You shoot faster. But you don't reload faster. And that fucks up weapon balance. For example the hunter crossbow is...the same dps as normal because it's single shot even though everything else is faster.
