and most of the time, she is chewing Zelos out for being a womanizing prick, being insensitive to the situation, or only caring for himself.

She's harsh to him because she's his friend. The description for Zelos' "Idiot Chosen" title is "A title given by a friend during the journey. It's not a name given out of spite." Zelos also fires back by calling her a demon banshee but he obviously cares for her a lot too, beyond just being a big-boobed woman.
It's not that different from how Lloyd makes fun of Genis as a crybaby and Genis in turn calls him a moron.
