It was the first game to introduce shitty mechanics such as walk at a snails pace or alert enemies and stand perfectly still forever until they leave with camo. Game was the beginning of the downfall, the first game where Kojima went gay for big boss and abandoned snake etc, I fucking hate 3. Here's hoping for a remake of 1 and 2. The gameplay of 2 was basically perfected MGS1 gameplay. MGS 3 is like a worse MGS4
