Am I playing this game wrong why is it so hard? I die in so few bullets I I have to run from cover to cover and cheese through gun fights.
Playing on hard but moderate kinda had this problem too.

I can't say for sure because I'm not the best at this game either and was playing on the normal difficulty
Oh boy just wait for the end and see how difficult it'll be for you
It's one of those cheap difficult games where you just die faster in higher difficulties. Just don't take it seriously, it's not meant to be a good challenge it's meant to be a tedious one.
Enemies are programmed to flank so keep moving and don't bunker down behind cover
The best ps4 game alongside with Bloodborne
This game has literally 3 elements
>Cutscenes
>Gunplay
>Climbing
And still they got only 2/3 right. The game looked nice in all but by Chapter 13 i just wanted it to hurry up and end
that swordfight at the end was pure unadulterated bullshit, i ended up just spamming triangle and circle to win
Yeah you’re playing it wrong. You have a lot to work with - stealth takedowns, routes in each encounter that reveal themselves as you actually survey the area, swinging mechanics, etc. Obviously you’re not supposed to get shot, so if you are try to thin the heard with stealth. Mark targets and keep track of what’s safe and unsafe. If you’re exposed try to find cover and hide, and take down any stragglers. .
It’s sort of like Vanquish where if you play like a dummy you’ll die quickly, but you have a vast arsenal of combat skills that can get the job done stylishly/efficiently. Play more like an assassin rather than a tank and it’s easy, even on hard.
For difficulty beyond that you employ cheesier tactics, memorization, and a bit more finesse for results.
Some of the harder parts in Uncharted games just need memorization. I only played 4 on normal, so I had no real need for that and I really didn’t get a feel what would be potential problem spots, but I very much recall the pain of the water room in 1 and cruise ship stage in 3 when I played them on difficulties above normal. Required a lot of trial and error about positioning and memorizing enemy spawns.
What you're doing wrong is playing Uncharted 4
Stealth. By the end of the game you'll be creating stealth takedown pathways just to remove as much enemies as possible before going ham on your enemies.
Nate's theme is one of the best vidya soundtracks I know

Jesus Christ, Yea Forums gets filtered by Uncharted on hard mode? No wonder you scream and call it a movie game.
>using triangle and circle instead of the bumpers which made way more sense
Fuck Naughty Dog, I'm never forgiving them for that shit
>just want a decent indiana jones style game
what would make uncharted good Yea Forums?
>did first playthrough on crushing
>get to ship graveyard section
Don't even remember how I got past it.
the gameplay breaks down at higher levels and you just have to duck and take pot shots or hope you get lucky between the enemy AI being retarded and bullets just flat out missing sometimes (even when they go straight through model).
You having good taste
much better puzzles, climbing/platforming that isn't so railroaded when you're trying to get to another area, and setpieces that aren't running in one direction. maybe more stuff like traps that you can avoid triggering, but can still get out of it if you do if you think fast (penitent man type of thing, false tiles you can jump over, pressure switches). there's just too many moments that felt like interactive cutscenes because that's basically what it was.
Enemies one shotting you is random
