I for one support Epic Games store

I for one support Epic Games store
they give developers a fair share of the profits and unlike certain other virtual stores it is not filled with shovelware and are not plotting to implement paid mods!
thank you Epic Games!

Literally every company takes 30%. Steam has more features than any of the others and Epic combined

Steam earns that 30%.

Not him but the only feature I need a launcher to do is start my game.

based

steam is fuckin trash though

kill yourself chinknigger

I know what you are doing OP. And I am waiting for valve drones.

I want to see some good Gabe dick sucking.

I mean enjoy not having cloud saves, the workshop, forums, and opt-in user reviews, or a decent online experience.

how?

I for one am against monopolies, so until Outer Worlds and Metro are on GOG, uPlay, Origin and BattleNet, I'm going to have to boycott the Epic Store.

t. Ching Chong bing bong

Why do you need a launcher for it?
In fact it is one of the things you absolutely do not need a launcher for.

I too support the epic games store, the chinks pay for my games now

I found it hard to believe that people are retarded enough to fall for that.
Maybe i am wrong tho, since there are already some butthurt responses.

it works like shit have you ever actually used it
that's what happens when you duct tape fix a program originally made for win xp onto modern systems. and even then it was shitty to begin with, it's just an unoptimized hackjob

>they give developers a fair share of the profits
Publishers not developers

>I need a launcher to launch my game
peak zoomer

I mean specifically. It works fine for me.

Why do you even need a launcher? What's the point of even buying the game if you don't get any other features?

>I for one support Epic Games store
We're enemies then. I wish it didn't have to be this way user, but I can't let you ruin vidya

Another troll thread trying to get a rise out of people. Just report and move on

tiananmen square

I'm not a developer so why would I give a fuck about a fair share of profits?

>thread actually talking about happenings within the games industry
>this is a troll!
Right you are user, this thread must be purged so you can get back to your e-celeb, twitter screencap and waifu fap-bait threads.

>supporting the CCP, one of the three most corrupt regimes on the planet

>enjoy not having
>cloud saves
Does anyone really play games on separate PCs?
>the workshop
Never used it.
>forums
Never used it but I guarantee better discussion can be found elsewhere.
>opt-in user reviews
Reviews are useless.
>a decent online experience
Steam doesn't magically create a good online experience.
Epic gives actually good games out bimonthly, as well.

>>supporting the CCP, one of the three most corrupt regimes on the planet
>supporting any government, all of which are equally awful

this but unironically
chinese psyop threads should be banned

Epic gives out a free game twice a month, why can't Steam if they are so great?

Oh please. It's an obvious shill thread. It has the same structure as all the others that are created. The OP has no information or substance, just trying to instigate a reaction. Fuck off.

Yes and? You think publisher condition is not important for devs?

because Steam isn't a communist honeytrap

>can't even run uplay game
OH NO NO NO NO

yeah, and it was Valve themselves established that 30% cut, and total ownership, in opposition to the publisher-owned model of the time.

>Valve themselves established that 30%
[citation needed]

>Valve themselves established that 30% cut
proof?
As far as it currently stands they followed the industry standard, which at the time it was 50% cut for physical copies so the 30% was actually very fair.

Quick! Post the Tiananmen Square Massacre pasta!

Hey chink shills, how much does epic pay you to keep doing this? It must be worth it because it’s getting sad at this point

EGS removes consumer choice, so it will most likely fail.
Even their "big" success story AA game with TV commercials and a promotional campaign with AMD to straight up give away copies can only manage a measly 250k units in a week, something that indie games can pull off on a regular basis on Steam.

>le pretending meme

Every thread on this board is a shitpost, you have to respond to one of them or just leave at this point

Poes law faggot

Shills will never answer this question:
How does egs promote competition thats good for consumers.
The only response to exclusives is Buying your own exclusives
Taking money away from support/store improvements
The only thing egs does is make publishers more money
Only self publishing indie devs would make money, but they are not allowed on the store

+1 social credit per post

>How does egs promote competition thats good for consumers.
Valve not having a monopoly over the business is better for consumers. It doesn't have to be EG - Steam being the only platform (which it would become, in time, if allowed to) gives consumers no choice.

Except value does not have a monopoly. They don't buy off devs or publishers. Other devs use their own stores, and they are free to decide to put it on steam or not. Your argument is invalid.

Yes it's much better if epic has a monopoly instead

>Valve does not have a monopoly
Not yet, I thought that was quite clear in my reply.

They never will. As you can clearly see in the past years publishers have moved on to their own digital distribution platforms and steam didn't once decide to buy off publishers because of that. It's a free market, until Epic joined the server.
