Storywise it's garbage but gameplay wise it's the best out of all the fallout games (excluding 1&2), pretty fun to dick around on, you'll get a good week's worth of it if you get into it, and yes.

Do you need any kind of mods to fix the base gunplay? Maybe something like fixing the zoom when you're scoped in with a rifle? Scopes were very annoying in FO3 and NV.

I didn't find any problems with the vanilla gunplay imo, it's not so much broken as it is unrealistic sometimes, so if you really want to you can check out some mods that a make shooting have more weight to it.

Fallout has always been shit

If it weren't such an ass of a task to import and export Skyrim's .nif files into and out of Blender, the amount of new races, I.E. bodies and faces, as well as armors would be much bigger. It seems that it's way easier to do this with Fallout 4 since, you can actually work with the newer versions of blender.

How hard it would be to transfer this one anyway, the engine and shit is basically the same, isn't it?

The gameplay is so vastly different from 1-2 and 3-4 that it's like comparing apples to oranges. One is an isometric turned based RPG and one is a shooter

The documentation for working with 3D models for Skyrim is all over the place and you need to use a lot of clutches to import and export things back and forth. This is why I stay away from trying to make my own mods for Skyrim.

From what I saw of the videos each character has to be done by hand.

That's a fucking bummer. I hope someone's going to make a replacement mod or something. Technically shouldn't even be that hard to make.
