Is this any good?

If by good you mean fucking garbage, yeah it's pretty good

I liked it just like all the "future" games

Also it's like 3 hours long.
I had played all the previous ps3 titles right before this one, and the frame rate looked janky as fuck. I don't even usually mind fps, but in this game it was honestly slightly harder to dodge enemy projectiles because of how not-smooth everything was.
The game has some cool gimmicks like the gravity warping sections and jetpack "freeroaming", but aside those and some 2d platform sections it doesn't change the usual formula that much. Crack in time is the largest and most explorative game in the series, but if you're like me and didn't quite like the future trilogy, stick to R&C2.

I thought it was okay. Had some shit I liked but the game was stupidly short. Crack in Time was fucking awesome though.

How are you guys even able to distinguish the different ratchet games? Dont get me wrong im a ratchet fan and loves the games, but they all just blur together in my mind. Im always surprised at peoples varying opinions of the different games. Theyre all the same in my mind.

Trash, horrible fps and short.
Just replay the PS2 ones and pretend the series ended with gladiator.

Yeah, after original trilogy (and gladiator) the quality of story/cutscenes get's lowered dramatically. That makes the planets lack personality and yeah, rest of the games really blur in my mind too.

It's not bad. Worth playing if you like Ratchet

1 = the Platformy one
2 = the best one/the blue one
3 = the orange one
gladiator/deadlocked = the arena one
size matters = the armor one
secret agent clank = the stealth one
tools of destruction = honestly can't think of anything
Quest for booty = the one that can be beaten in an hour or two
Crack in time = the one with custom weapons and more clank stuff
Into the nexus = the one nobody played
all 4 one = fuck you
q force = that one game with the trolllol song in it
2016 = the movie one

Size matter is more worth your time than that piece of shit you posted

It gave us yet another Mr Zurkon but also the best Mr Zurkon ever.

Then the rermake had fucking Mr Zurkon too but somehow worse than the game before it (because it lacks Mama Zurkon who was a boss)

the last one I played was Deadlocked when I was like 10. I had no idea there were so many.

of 'main' titles there's like 5 (RC1-3, Tools of Destruction and Crack in Time) but there's a bunch of spinoffs which included deadlocked

Yes, it's the best game to come after the Future trilogy ended

>it's the least stinky wad of slime from this junkyard
thank you user, very cool

It's okay. Like a 7/10.
Main problem is the performance, it's 30fps with sharp dips. Length is an issue but it's longer than QfB at least.
If you liked all the other Ratchet games, including the other PS3 ones, then it's more of that.

Almost half of those are spinoffs or portables, they're pretty skippable.

Well you didn't miss anything, series had already peaked in quality. It was all downhill from there.

>ToD
How about "the Cragmite/Tachyon one"?

Not memorable enough

I'd say the devices were the most memorable part of ToD. Shit like Groovitron and Zurkon were introduced except they were nicely balanced and not played out by then.

>2 = the best one/the blue one
stopped reading here, absolutely based

I enjoyed the deviantart trilogy, I thought the story between the games was fun.

It's just a shame they couldn't end it better after peaking with a crack in time.

This game was basically the equivalent of sony making the andrew garfield spiderman movies to hold onto the rights.

It's pretty half assed and short (though to be fair it released at like 30$ so they knew it) and all around a pointless experience no one needed or asked for. It's also a nu-insomniac game so it looks worse and runs worse than all the previous RC games.

>tools of destruction = honestly can't think of anything

I'd call it the long one. That game takes forever to beat and loses a lot of steam halfway through.

Short but alright. Get it on discount
>last full length game was ACIT
>last game that felt like a typical R&C in terms of length was ToD
Movie tie-in cut too much shit for me to call it full length
>the frame rate looked janky as fuck.
Oh right I forgot about that too.
