He's not wrong about that. If you're running a kickstarter you should clearly outline what platforms you're going to release the game on from the start of the project. Making your game a timed exclusive mid development just makes people feel like they've been cheated. If they need money that badly just drum up some hype, or do a PR campaign, fuck even beg if you want to. People will give you money regardless, just look at Star Citizen.

It's a pretty good adventure game made in time when adventure games are dead. The focus is on exploration and mystery, not combat. As you travel from planet to planet you start combining the clues to figure out how to save your star system from destruction. I recommend trying out the demo, the atmosphere in the game is top notch. Getting on the asteroid and exploring the cabin was obe of the best experiences I've had in games.
