solid build. i'm looking at a 2080 ti Nvlink i9 9900k custom loop myself
pussy magnet right here
Damn nigga that's pretty powerful, do you even get a significant boost from the 2080 ti SLI tho?
I feel like one of them is already overkill for anything that's out right now. lol
>9900k
>2080ti
>12gb corsair
My recommendation is to have money
>lol
Don't reply to me you FUCKING REDDITOR FAGGOT!!!!!!!!1
i'm actually kidding, still using an i5-4570 w/ rx 570 and 16gb of DDR3. the poorest of fags right here.
1080ti
8700k
32gb 3000 ddr4
I wanted it to be able to run new games on high at 1440p 120fps and also run VR games with ease and it does, but its sorta overkill and I could have spent like 500 less dollars and still been happy.
I also use it a lot for streaming
Hey man, at least that thing can easily carry you throughout most of the next console generation without needing to upgrade much, maybe in the last 2-3 years of the PS5's life cycle you'll need new stuff.
I would also add that I recently built my wife a PC and I bought quite a few used parts and was really glad I did.
As long as you have buyer protection so you don't get scammed I would go used for things like GPU instead of getting a weaker card if you are on a budget.
Who the fuck cares about pc now when ps5 is right around the corner and will have hardware ray tracing, 8k support, ssd, 12+ tflops gpu and will sell at a massive loss.
You must be brain dead to build or upgrade your pc right now.
Absolutely, it feels nice to never worry about if I can run a new game. I'm going to skip the current hardware generation and maybe the next and then upgrade to whatever the newest top tier GPU/CPUs are.
Might even get a pro-sumer CPU next time like the Intel Extreme series because I do some 3d modeling and photo/video editing.
Oh yes, i can't wait to play games with raytracing and 4K at a silky smooth 20 fps, Sony wins again!
>those specs but doesn't even have 16 GB of ram
>I'm assuming DDR3 ram at that since just "corsair"
What are these priorities
Ah yeah if it's for professional uses then you might as well get an XE or a Threadripper.
Friend of mine still has a first gen Threadripper and is pretty happy with it to this day.
why do consoles have such fucked up priorities about these things
Is it because 60 fps isn't as good a marketing term as 4k?
try 10-15 fps
Yeah i think so. "60 fps" literally has been around since home gaming was a thing, it's not really a term you can toss around to excite normalfags.
Just bought 3440x1440p 120HZ (Dell Alienware AW3418DW), might upgrade the RAM speed one of this days.

I want to get another 16gb kit eventually and move to 100% ssd storage (2x m.2 and 2x sata)
i7 7700k
msi sli z270 motherboard
rtx 2080ti founders edition
16 gb corsair vengence lpx 3000
2 1tb hard drives
1 samsung 500 gb ssd
evga CLC 280mm liquid cooler
evga 750w power supply
corsair carbide air 540 case
>founders edition
Ngl i'm kinda jealous, those are always sold out where i live, i just love their design.
Also i hear that they actually overclock better than costum cards.
check ebay for one
that's where i got mine
I have a laptop lmao
1060. Does the job
Is the 20 series still a meme?
My brother, I have one to play fighters with friends. I got a 1050ti because Tekken was a bitch beforehand.
2060 has decent value (kinda), the rest is still way overpriced and raytracing isn't a thing in almost any games yet.
PS5 supporting raytracing will make the 20 series have more of a point.
I've got a 1700 at 4ghz and a Vega 64 with a morpheus II. Waiting for zen 2 to upgrade the cpu.
is it loud? off hand have you seen benchmarks vs the board partner cards? I've heard they usually are much louder and hotter than bp's but idk.
Thanks.
I want to make a gaming SFF PC but I'm currently waiting for Zen2 and Navi. Will they deliver the hype and is $1500 enough for a SFF build?
Should I buy a 2080 or gamble on a used 1080ti?
no it's not loud at all
during gaming it doesn't go past 70c
the new fans on the card are much better than the blower style fans on the old 1000 series
ryzen 1700
rx 570
8gb ram that fails memtest and occasionally bluescreens
might get a radeon vii. still waiting for ryzen 3
used 1080ti still on warranty
that's what I did
>8350@factory4
>R9 280

Mostly emulate and play Mount&Blade/strategy games; but, performance is still good enough to run intensive games like Sekiro, Witcher 3, and Metro Last Light. I'll probably upgrade to a Ryzen 1440p rig once next gen consoles are out so I can see how good of a GPU I'll need to stay safely ahead of console performance
>listening to Yea Forums about PC's
the only RTX card that i'd avoid is the 2080. it is by far the worst price to performance.
If your going to get that one, just save up and get a ti. the performance is like 30-40 fps more.
thanks
Is the RTX 2070 worth it at 500 dollars
20 fps is normal for a movie, which is what you can expect on a playstation.
yes
Idk depends, you can get a used 1080 ti for a similar price, which is signficantly stronger still.
But if you care about utilizing raytracing in the future, the 2070 will do you better.
get radeon vii for 100 more.
has no idea what he's talking about
I know this is a PC build thread, but should I gamble on gaming laptops on ebay? I want one with at least 1050TI since I travel every 4 months back and fourth. Budget is $700 at most.
>ryzen 2600x
>16gb DDR4 3000mhz

I like it. Works pretty well. I can play most games at a good framerate and above 1440p no problem. A good number of games at 4k60 but that's because I prefer image quality over framerate unless it's under 60. I've been thinking of getting a new video card though. Is a 2080 worth the money or should I go with a 2070?
