god i miss UE1
Bruh. That game was fucking BOSS for 1v1
don't @ me
It was so much fucking fun, I hope it's not dead cause I'm planning to hop on soon.
This game sucked fucking ass.
I played it 'cause my dad got me hooked on actual BF2, and I wanted something like it for the PS2.
i thought it would be a direct port of pc bf2 since my shitty family compaq computer could barely run it. quickly realized it was not and threw it away
i still play this with my clan
>the dude who made the D3D10/11 renderers for UE1 games turned out to be a pedo
Seriously? I just dl'd that renderer an hour ago
I don't regret it
His banme on SA was a giant loli post when him and a bunch of other games/YCS goons got exposed as being very obvious pedos, he was also a really bad poster. Shoot an email and ask if he still thinks cropped Rustle art as an avatar doesn't immediately mean someone's a pedo
>game is called mirage
>it disappears like a mirage
like pottery
>like pottery
can't tell if you meant to say like poetry or actually meant pottery but either way I'm laughing my ass off right now
Your new is showing
Played the demo for this, I remember a part that looked like hell and it was pretty scary, really fun though
I remember it, the bonus level in this one was pretty weird, the game in general felt off
damn i've been here for 10 years and either never saw that meme or just never noticed it
still funny
It's okay to be new, user. Just lurk more and stop lying about how long you've been here like some faggot redditor trying desperately to fit in.
>you don't know every Yea Forums inside joke
>you must be a redditor and new to this website
classic autistic retards on Yea Forums
fucking hated the cavern level after you crash the boat, god damn
Great horror game
Cool lil JRPG
And I really liked it.
Probably everyone played this back when there were only a handful of lightun games for the PS2 and you owned a lightgun.
I friend had this way back when.
The yellow dude is eggbert right?
I wanted to play it but the playerbase seemed non existent and the fact that you need to buy it really is off-putting. Core mechanics looked interesting.
deeply underrated wii gem
James Strength
Dead MMO
Another MMO ahead of its time.
I was a beta tester for this, I remember enjoying it.
Unknown gem
fuckign lenny loosejocks, when I bring it up people think i'm crazy. glad I didnt halunicate it.
My brothers and i always made fun of how he died. Fuck jim power
>Game only you played
>Googles an image for the game from someones server
this was fun as a console baby who wanted to see what battlefield was like
I'm STILL waiting for BF2MC to become playable via emulation at decent speeds, but PCSX2 only runs it on a software renderer and the hardware renderer has a black screen bug which nobody has bothered to fix.
The campaign was actually fun, especially ranking up and unlocking stuff. Hot Swapping is a very underrated gameplay mechanic.
Sky Blazer comes to mind
Also every obscure DS rom i could get my hands on in 2011
The Chase: felix meets felicity
Henry Hatsworth
The legendary starfy
Comfy underwater RTS
its not even a Yea Forums inside joke, but the way you're reacting sure is fucking showing how new you are
imagine caring this much about thinking somebody is new to Yea Forums
Neat concept, not so neat execution, shit performance. I know the Wii is not the most powerful console but that game literally looks like a PS2 game and doesn't even maintain 30fps.
Super weapons felt extremely good, but black octopi were far too strong.
oh hell yeah, that was a great game. never owned it myself but a friend had it and i borrowed it from him
ERFPG power
Fucking loved this game I still have the cd
only zoomer didn't play Rune
Fuck off, that was the only game I had my parents purchase on real arcade back in the day
Its really old sandbox game.
sequel in development if you can believe it
This game gave me headaches
Really? By the same people?
>runeragnarok.com
same company i don't know if it's same people
I remember Dark Sector, or something
advertised as "from the designers of diablo", came with wildtangent, is not the digital extremes 3rd person shooter
please help.
Throne of Darkness?
No idea but dark sector is pretty fucking good
>open world survival craftshit
why
I have fond memories even though I'm sure the three other people that played it hated it
Freaky Fliers
>youtube.com
>youtube.com
They put a lot of soul into this game.
youtube.com
This game was awesome
I had a pirated copy of that game. From what I remember it felt like the most basic bitch attempt at an FPS.
I got a demo version of it with Pharaoh and played the shit out of it
It's on GoG, I've just got to stop being a lazy bitch and actually buy it.
When I want to be a federal agent, there's only one game for me.
Heh. I remember when this was one of the earliest JRPG's on the PS3 back in the "PS3 has no games" era. I played the demo, but never picked it up.
...dark orbit?
Unironically the most soul of any "kart" racing game. The amount of shit you can interact with in each level is staggering. Plus a ridiculous amount of cutscenes.
>those obvious allusions to real life stereotypes
>apes are niggers who only live to destroy
>rats are kikes who only care about money and manipulation
Tried it. Disliked it.
damnit user
I really regret giving away my ps2
This game was the fucking bomb
Played all the old clonks a lot. Newer ones are still ok, but somewhat lost their appeal to me.
Last time I checked it still had a somewhat active userbase
>electronic arts
>epic mega games
>chaos works
>fire fight
games like this and crusader:NR could use a remake, and not the standard remake EA does; to mobile or into a generic shooter.
Seems like it was yesterday I was playing splitscreen ingition.
>only you've played
But I also played Rune. Great game.
Anyone?
Die by the sword (1998). Played with a flight joystick
Yeah, good game but still worse than the first Bugs Bunny game.
This one was a literal brainwash, also all the other net yaroze games, does anyone else remember them?
Wow. Almost forgot about Ignition
Holy fuck I had this
So does he like 3D or just 2D?
guess
Very few people seem to talk about this one. But I really like it, played it a lot. I remember loving the soundtrack. Sitting there listening to Chaos and Undead town themes.
this shit was memed a lot here when it was new
No, name now.
>sending kobolds flying as a golem in arena mode
Good shit.
Draconus for Dreamcast.
Good times.
the first TMNT 2k3 game was way better, the biggest problem with this one is that you shared a fucking health pool in co-op so it was incredibly unfun
bruh i played the shit out of this
>Rune
Fucking hell I missed this game
Well than shall we?
cuz I'm old
so old
Isn't a sequel in the making? Also I remember this came out the same year as Fallout Tactics. Fantastic year.
Any RC Car bros out there?
actually really enjoyed this one. definitely not a legit SF game, but a fun platformer with good mechanics.
The best Titus game
>games only you've played
>alone in the dark
That series was huge in it's day. It was so big even the isolationist Japs heard about it and ripped it off to make Resident Evil.
So hurry up and die
Yea, pretty much desperados 2, I think it's ignoring cooper's revenge and heldorado, which I felt were pretty weak compared to the original.
This and Commandos was the shit. Used to stay at my mates house and take turns playing this.
this fucking game lol
>attempted fanco-belgian comics art style that doesn't quite work since the artists clearly aren't any good
>gratuitous gore
>gratuitous titties
>gratuitous goretitties
>literally fucking dying and going to heaven
>literally fucking tricking your way out of heaven through crossdressing and turning the guards gay
>fucking terrible FPS section out of nowhere
Advent Rising
This game was literally Mass Effect before Mass Effect even came out.
holy fuck, my dude. you just gave me a rush of nostalgia. i always remembered playing this on NES but could never for the life of me recall the name.
not even that guy but he's right. that mean is mentioned in like 80% of threads made on Yea Forums. Even Reddit.
I only remember it because of the soundtrack
I wonder if anyone will have any idea.
I honestly had fun playing it. But its so mentally and physically exhausting. 1 artifact game is like 3 dota games. You are completely dry after it. So intense.
>Stop time.
>Grab his gun out of his hands.
>Hit the guy next to him with the bud of the gun.
>Unfreeze time.
>Guy looks at his hands confused than surrenders as his body falls flat on the ground.
Das it mang
>Even Reddit.
The Simpsons was doing that joke 25 years ago. It is not a Yea Forums meme. It is not a reddit meme. It is not an internet meme. It's a fucking ancient joke.
i played this on one of those psx demo discs that came with a bunch of net yaroze games
Excellent game, nothing else like it
Custom maps lagged like shit for some reason
one of the best racing games for ps1 for sure
played this one, I particularly liked playing "multiplayer" with bots
the artic mission was pure kino.
Also great soundtrack.
I've never met anyone besides my cousin whom I lent my copy that's played this IRL. It's a goddamn shame too because it's pretty fun and I'm 99% sure my autism over this game means I've made the most statistically advantageous deck possible but can't really test that
i post this in every one of these threads that i go in but i never get any (You)s :(
Also,
>Shooting your girlfriend to death by stupidly following the villain's instructions
>Trying to resign, but having your boss refuse to let you do it
>Bringing your girlfriend back from Heaven at the end
>Cloning yourself, then strategically murdering your clone to progress
>Totally out-of-place 1960s pop music
>The villain using HIS REAL FUCKING NAME in order to infiltrate an FBI firing range and set up the trap that makes you kill your girlfriend
Can't get it to work on win 7 or 10 anymore
Poy Poy 2, used to play all the time with friends when I was little, it was all in moonrunes so we had to take notes what everything in the menu and item shop did, for some reason we enjoyed doing that and would look for more weird Japanese games to do it.
Oh shit I remember playing this all the time but I can barely remember a thing about it
Played this once as a kid, never finished it. I thought the game over scene was really creepy.
What? This was really popular back in the day.
Blurry textures scare me more than anything.
>complete first level on the plantation
>ok that was pretty hard but managable, I play old hitman games on hard so this shouldn't be too much of a problem
>next level has 20 fucking guards or some shit around the guy you're supposed to rescue from being hanged
I quit the game there.
Spent many afternoons after school playing this game.
Loved this.
Still don't get who was suit.
*craaack*
*siip*
3Dfx... Now that was a graphics card.
hell yeah motherfucker
Never saw it mentioned.
I bet non of you played this garbage.
I didn't even know it had bots for MP, I missed out, wonder if the CD still works ... and if it can run on a modern system.
Played the beta, it was ok.
I had that, it was not bad
When you could accurately swing your sword with the mouse, dang... There is still nothing like it
I always forget it's name, but it was a fun game, I also never knew it got a sequel that I never played.
Who else #smallbrawl?
regnum online, still alive btw
fucking loved this game. gameplay was fun af and story was awesome
>le goon
Just use the correct term, "irrelevant SA faggot", you soiboy
THE HYPE, THE FEELS!
youtube.com
Awesome game with an awesome soundtrack
Did anyone ever play the arcade version of it?
2140 was kino as well
Game was so fucking good, still my favorite flight game
I only played the sequel. Will I like this one?
This game has so much potential but I don't know, it's missing something from the gameplay loop, it doesn't feel finished.
Crusaders of Might and Magic. Played it, beat it. A pretty shitty game with a shit ending.
>he likes loli means he molests children
We've been over this, normalfag filth. You cannot be called a pedophile for liking drawings the same way you cannot be called a murderer for playing violent videogames.
Everyone played it nigga, it was amazing
Also new one soon
Camera cheat was great
Shut up newfag
>MiG-29 Fulcrum
>F-16 Multirole Fighter
>And ye old "Delta Force" game
This reminds me ... is NovaLogic defunct?
This is the guy that made the renderer for deus ex, right?
Good taste in games, even better taste in porn. Hope he likes 3d too.
Oh shit, this was like an early multiplayer FPS but with wizards with different classes and stuff, wasn't it? I recall it being on a little games network with some other proto-MMO and MUD type games, right?
>tiny people running around a child's room
>how cute
>they start brutally killing each other using superpowers after the first lap
>oh god
>workshop level
>OH GOD
Haha this was fucking great, thx for reminding me
2150 is a million times better, mainly 2160 only casualized or added dumb features than only get in the way (agents, armor types).
Campaigns are a lot better too, in the base game the overall goal for each faction is to gather a million credits (500k for LC) before the earth explodes, and missions are basically a stepping stone for this goal. You can fail missions and the game still continues, the campaign is failed only if you fuck up critically or run out of time. Research persists thorough the campaign, and you have a main base where you can do research, production and store units as well as fly them to missions with a transporter. I've only scratched the surface but the consensus I've seen everywhere is that 2160 was a very disappointing sequel.
Another thing to note is that in 2150 each faction has its own soundtrack, UI skin and announcer. It is really unbelievable how in 2160 everyone shared these things, even the aliens
Why would you claim you've been here "10 years" if you don't care about not knowing every inside joke? Stop being so pathetic and learn to be humble.
Played with numpad
I know. I honestly wish it had a lan multiplayer of some sort.
Hard for me to tell you, never played that one. I remember being impressed with the fact that I could design my own units and that snow accumulated on stationary units and on buildings.
I had a demo of this game from an old pc magazine. it was fun but my english was really bad back then so I had no idea what I was doing.
this thread is good for nostalgia
>tfw I only played 2140 and sucked ass in it
i still have that, never got past the worms tho
>overarching goal
>research persists throughout the campaign
>persistent main base
I love this. Wish more RTS did that.
Unit designer did make it into the sequel. As for the snow, you're on Mars most of the time but there is a day/night cycle and some sort of frost at nightfall iirc.
Thaha wanted to post this, clonk planet and endeavour was the shit back then
They tried to do 3d stuff with clonk extreme but it never really worked out, then minecraft came and wiped it out of existence
>most people dont know the hardships of hazard clonks
That spacestation was brutal
I'll always remember the ad for that game.
It's an incredible game. To bad, the sequels suck ass hard.
Kay was such an insufferable cunt.
I loved all the polish on that game. Those silly features like being able to switch lights in your base on and off whenever you wanted.
There's no real purpose to them but it's just fun anyway.
Theres a free pc version out there with really good online multiplayer
nigga I can't read vodkarunes
ANY new level youll start will be like "oh fuck how am I even gonna make that" but you always somehow will, quickload and quicksave be your allies
It was really satisfying once you got through a level
The first Konung.
youtube.com
I played this since it was cheap as fuck and the only PSP game I could afford at the time. I remember liking it.
>t-thanks grandma, that's close to s-smash bros
It was alright
>chased by monster truck motherfucker
>water on this part is 50/50 death/pass
>actually kills you
>doesn't kill monster
>retry y/n
YYYYY
I remember it sucking shit but it might just be because it was the first stealth game I ever played outside of Hitman.
Those little details can make the game that much more likeable if done right. Also the soundtrack was amazing. Eurasian Dynasty ED Day 3 when the chorus hits is amazing.
I know those 2 ... but where from ... could it be.
You might still be able to catch him. Now if Vegas or Banana pass you, I'd say you have a pretty solid case reason, since you're main hope is that they take a turn poorly, and fly off something or get smashed by a hazard.
Runaway.
case/reason* your*
Brain please.
takes me back. Really remember those strawberries
this fucking shit right here
>mfw all those S-tier voice actors
Loved this fuckfest of a game.
Man Shiny did some amazing games back then. Didn't they also do Messiah? Loved that too. But Sacrifice perfection. Was fun even in multiplayer.
Still my favourite game for the n64
THAT'S IT!
I think I remember it from a gaming magazine. It reminded me of Broken Sword ... the closest thing I ever got to an open ended/choice matters point and click was probably with tale tell games ... I want to play one now.
>only 1 person played MAG
I don't remember this being mentioned here. Good stuff, especially in co-op
Earthworm Jim was OP as fuck.
Comfiest game
It's no Splinter Cell but it's a decent enough clone. I've played much worse stealth games. The plot gets a little nutty. When I first started playing I never would have called the end of the game will be a boss battle against a giant spider tank.
Hello to the one other person that played this.
played this on the psp, didn't even know it had a ds release
The sequel was better lol
mah nigga
Despite overall being a shitty game, I loved it. Still fucking hated the mission where you had to throw the fuel barrels at the oil platform.
Sure feels hr gigery around here.
>tfw you'll never hear from Hosed or Screwed again
this shit was great, but way to grindy
I can't tell you how long I've tried to remember the title of this game. My neighbor had it, and I never got to beat it. Thanks, user.
Based
that one game where you were two critters chained up trying to escape black mesa
I win.
oh hey its mort!
>Local 200 IQ shark throws old torpedos from sunken sub at oil rig.
Kek, I liked the boss fights, with the killer whale and the giant squid
I remember getting this from my aunt for christmas and being pissed since I wanted Spyro or something.
yes user only you have played iji
I am the only person on this board who played this game
How about this then?
oh fuck i remember this, the second game with the zeppelin in egypt was pretty rad
and this one
and maybe this one
Man this game was great
>summoner
Good taste.
It was a fun game until you ran into someone who bought runes from the shop in a dungeon.
I finished this with some friends. It was probably intended to be used with a lightgun or something but never made it in. Was really fun.
never have i played a game with as much salt in it as FOM
and i was the only one who played it
OUT
yeah nobody played enclave
fuck off
I don't think anyone but me ever actually played this. Like X-wing vs. Tie Fighter, it was years too early to ride the online multiplayer wave to greatness, otherwise Battlefield might have been the forgotten series today.
As a hint, it was made by people known for accesible flight sims, and for some reason it was noticed more for its absurd title than for its pretty cutting edge gameplay.
Hey, I played that. What was it, Rune or something?
Was okay, but not as good as Severance.
Zone of the Ender and it's sequel.
Part 3 never ;-;
I played this.
this game was constantly shilled here, i personally never played it since the art makes me want to puke
Lights on units make them harder to see during the night but slows them down, so you can turn lights off just before engaging the enemy to get a little closer before they see you. Don't know if lights on buildings do anything though.
The absolute comfiest you can get is waiting in a snowy ED base as the Taigas carry crates from mines to refineries, wind blowing snowfall and smoke from the chimneys, snow accumulating on buildings and still units. The night and ambient music plays, and night slowly turns into morning
ahhh nice pick
been good times on ps1
My parents picked it up from a bargain bin at Sam's Club one day, along with anime puppet Pokemon
X-Men & Spider-Man in Arcade's Revenge
fucking tai-fu, I rented it from a blackbuster way back. Shit was way too hard for 8 year old me
This shit came out in 2000
I wish there were more games like this.
I forgot about this. Never played it, but was really excited about it from magazine ads. I think I’ll try it out today. Thanks for reminding me, user.
This was only released in PAL, not that great of a game but it's a pretty fun concept with nicely destructible levels. There's even an ntsc hack of it.
janky and awful, but I loved it
Yes user, you're the only german on this board.
>take elements from Muramasa and TWEWY
>mix them with Napoleon Dynamite setting
I dunno why but i loved Jet Li Rise to Honor
Enclave, played it multiple times. Quality game. Sad it never got a sequel. Bad guy campaign was cool.
what is this? some bootleg Alien Breed?
>games only you and everyone else in the world has played
This is my game, there are many like it but this one is mine and none of you have played it and none of you ever will
Pretty sure i was the only one to play Arx Fatalis. Got it in some game magazine back in the day.
Stealth Western with unlimited ammo. What could go wrong ?
calm down autismo
izzat heavy gear?
kinda yeah, its psychon, a net yaroze game for the psx, only ever released on demo discs for the UK official playstation magazine
Are you kidding? People discuss arx fatalis all the time here.
ahahahhaahha
>10 years
>i've been here for less than 5 and i know more than this old fuck
PFFT, wolverine's face!
You're in luck they updated it so it will work on new systems in 2018.
What about Hugo?
I played Rune a lot.
It was shit. At least the singleplayer was utter and absolute garbage, and one of the very first lessons I've gotten about dangers of misleading or straight up false advertising and developers being cunts.
Other guy is right. Lurk more.
>psychon
interesting, and here's an earlier version for the amiga
youtu.be
heavy gear II, playing it again after all this time is a a real trip
I've never played this (Linda3, as in cubed) but I desperately want to, I'm a huge fan of the artist that designed everything in it to the point I own every book he's published that I've been able to find. As far as I can tell, someone is working on a translation, but who knows when it'll be done.
I actually had Hugo on the PS1, and for whatever reason I never realised just how fucking weird it was as a kid. Yet for whatever reason I played and enjoyed it.
Had to dig for this one(Claw/Captain Claw), didn't even remember the name, played it when i was a kid on my dads brand new work PC, blew my mind
Fuck off please. It was just another flavor of the month skinner box overhyped by devs. Every single MMO brainlet played this shit because you retards never learn.
I hear they're making the third one in the series. Any one play this?
I played this as a kid could u ID pleaseee
europeans really struggle to make games, don't they?
They used to run it on TV with kids calling to play. It's kinda funny.
Almost posted pic only but then I saw you, my nigger
>only 1 Person played any of the games in this threat
Congrats you went full retard.
Looks like Fool pixel art from PixelJoint
Lol, nigger, this is a popular game.
Even got a pretty great source port if you want to play it on modern PCs, even on Linux etc.
wiki.arx-libertatis.org
with the lag of a touchtone phone and the entire TV broadcasting pipeline. It's like playing an action game on google stadia
I tried to get it running on my pc a few years ago but it just wouldn't work, is there some new fanpatch?
huh, interesting, never knew there was an amiga version, pretty sure the character never taunted enemies in the psx one either
shame it doesn't have the amazing soundtrack though
If I recall right, this came bundled with a bunch of other games on a CD.
What do I win?
This is the one where you can switch between soldiers mid fight right, not gonna lie I actually loved that.
anything you gotta tell yourself to help you sleep at night
Not everyone is in on your shitty memes Yea Forums.
I played this to death back in 98'-99'
i don't think anyone else is bothered about your failed concept
You're all a bunch of babies.
I lost the CD when I was a kid, haven't found anywhere I could download it since.
>had two different English localizations for no reason where the US version turned the MC into a faggot
I remember this
pastebin.com
good luck user, it's a hassle to get it running but HG2 is worth it
so, you fly around in a gunship shooting infected civilians? that's what i can gather from the cover
i refuse to apologize for loving this game
even after they fucked up the western release
even after they ported it to PC, ported the western version AND managed to make it buggier than it already was
i still fucking love bullet witch and i want to impregnate alicia
Yes it's exactly that.
What game? Kinda reminds me of the look of Severance Blade of Darkness
>games only you played
>developer plays game before releasing it
elite dangerous probably the best space game ive ever played
You're like babies. Watch this.
Nice
E:D has sold 3 million copies. It's far from being a game only you've played.
Never played it, but I remember it making some waves.
Imagine that thing releasing today.
Had a Playstation Underground disc with a demo of this. Demo was great, was alike a mix Of Resident Evil with John Carpenter's "The Thing". Wanted to get the full game but sadly never got around to it.
It's worth a playthrough. The infection mechanic and aiming/weapon customization was pretty good for its time. Play the PAL one though
I love the OST in this game and how you're given your father's old sword before adventuring.
Wow, there i was thinking that was too farfetched.
Nope. Whole game is you shooting down infected people before they run and infect others. You can use a flamethrower, missiles, and a machine gun on them. It's not that good but man it's such a hilariously absurd concept for a game especially one in the early 90s I kinda enjoy it.
Anyone? The mixed genres was an interesting concept, but the game wasn't too good from what I recall.
The 90s also gave rise to things like Postal, Gender Wars and Carmageddon.
It was a time of experiments, indeed. Some of them in how to bait for controversy-marketing.
Carmageddon was also a good game, and T E C H N O L O G Y as fuck, though.
Wish those kinds of games would come back. They usually had a cheeky sense of humor behind them which made it super enjoyable to play especially Carmageddon.
I remember not understanding the controls and dying a lot
Never got to kill Neo-Satan
I played it. I got to the the second area or whatever and then I got to a part of the game where my character would just randomly drop dead for no reason. Looked it up online and it turns out there's some sort of bug when your character will just drop dead for no reason and nobody knows why. The only thing you can do is replay the section over and over and over again until it doesn't happen. I decided instead to just stop playing. The game wasn't good anyway.
Aside from the sponsored jewtubers the first week, literally only me and the devs have ever played this.
I really liked it.
>babby
Wrong
This is like that bit in Stephen Kings Big Black Tower, when Roland genocides a village
>don't buy bulletproof vest and max medpacks
>get btfo
I think i'm gonna buy this game after some user mentioned in another thread. A little worried if it's worth it or not in terms of length, i found it for 8 euros but it's in one of those personal adds sites so there's no guarantee the guy will even ship the thing once i pay.
I played it, it was okay.
Carmageddon does have a modern remake, Max Damage. Don't know if it's any good or has any of the old ones' soul to it, though.
I think Carmageddon modernised right could be Rocket League for Edgelords, and at least as big.
reddit spacing nigger
Never seen anyone post about this game in these type of threads before, this game was the shit
I actually replayed this recently. They made it free and open source.
It's still fun, though it has issues. Nothing gets me like the thrill of finding a nuke.
>only vid is gameplay with 1000 views
>ripped the exes but they have a weird dated copy mechanism that nobodys cracked but its probably super eZ to do
close coincidence, i had hg3 in english tho
i dont know anyone else that has played it and im not exactly socially depleted
rune, i still play it
This shit was so good.
Refueling over a train before it goes into a tunnel.
Making tight ass turns through a canyon to avoid strong winds up the side of a mountain without stalling out.
Using wind currents to make it through a big ass storm.
Retrovirus
Would you claim nobody but you has played, for example, Persona 5? Persona 5 sold fewer copies than E:D.
I thought this was insanely popular at the time of it's release? I played it on some old shitty mac we had when I was tiny. Loved seeing the tanks blow up.
arx fatalis is the good shit, why no other game ever adapted that rune magic drawing system is just ridiculous and shameful
it was
Nope, Rune is one of my favourite games.
The bets fucking LAN party game that ever was.
this game fucking sucked
I really like the environments and atmosphere in Messiah, which is weird considering the concept.
I did, but the only thing I remember is that you have a knife and start out the first mission outside a fenced base.
I miss Rune so much. Played the shit out of the multiplayer. Made a bunch of custom maps, too.

This game has 2 things that are still unique to this day compared to other RTS games:
-units gain experience by dealing damage instead of just on kill (means: efficient unit use pays off mid battle and after; sadly only experience for units and turrets receiving damage, not for anti-structure units, like flamethrowers, dealing damage to structures)
-being able to run over infantry with vehicles which was a viable strategy vs some infantry types
-tanker transports you could ambush / block off
The humor was also one of a kind. KKND 2 wasn't as good as the 1st part, imo.
This game looks good on the surface and has a lot of *could do that* options but ultimately only unit spam works with very little strategy.
Got stuck in a mission where the game wouldn't give me instructions what to do. Gave up, never picked it up again. The only thing I remember is Russian laser tanks were in that mission.
>why no other game ever adapted that rune magic drawing system is just ridiculous and shameful
I think it has something to do with it being a terrible and unreliable system and even the devs fucking knew it because they let you precast spells and "store" them.
How was it? The box art looks really nice.
Oh fuck I remember always almost buying this game and then pirating it after I hacked my psp, it was pretty good
Lenny Loosejocks was my childhood.
Holy fuck, I remember when ezone got 3d games. Iw as fucking blown away.
>Richard Garriott's
and this is why it failed, shitty name-riding MMO
I played the PC version at a friend's house as a kid. Was pretty neat, but it crashed a lot. Good times.
it's not fair Yea Forumsros
It doesn't even run on modern operating systems anymore. Also I've never beat it, the last level is such a huge difficulty spike.
I played that for a bit. Really janky, but the realm vs realm vs realm concept is great.
What the fuck are you talking about? Enclave was fucking garbage.
This might have been on my school computers in elementary school, was there a segment where you could control a dragonfly and fly around a massive open area?
Enclave is one of my favorite games and the best implementation of archery in a third person perspective to date. Get out of my sight nigga
Severely underrated.
The game that introduced me to sneaky-peaky gameplay.
I bet you all suck at this game and I can kick your asses 10-0 in arena
Holy shit, I don't think I've ever seen a display of worse taste on this site.
Enclave is one of the few action games with even worse combat than The Witcher. The visuals are nice, but jesus christ the gameplay is just complete and utter garbage.
It was only localised in my country, shit was great
Played through it, still remember to this day and think of semi-frequently for some reason.
The Xbox version, maybe; but the ps2 version was pretty common and held in high regard.
My man. The last level was hard as shit. Never beat it too. There was also a similar but easier game called Butterfly about cyborg.
Visuals and sound were superb. Hope for remake/sequel from Shadow Tactics / Desperados 3 team.
>action game
>all those buzzwords
The melee is jank but it's a fun jank and there's a method to it.« It's not even comparable to The Witcher and as i said, it literally has the best archery.
Shit opinion.
yeah, i think it was this youtube.com
i remember getting scared because of the bees and red fog lol
Best RTS evah
This looks interesting, thanks for the tip.
I know some people who played this, but has anyone played Ancient Conquest?
>Ancient Conquest
Yep, I remember this one. My father played most of obscure RPGs and RTSs from 90's.
>HotSlot
Reminder that Human Head recently updated Rune to work on Windows 10 and mutliplayer uses Steam as well.
No reason not to try it out.
Played it and it sucks
The aussie rippah himself
Loved this game.
what game?
The legend.
He was part of the 420chan/12chan crew
Awesome game. I 3 starred every challenge. Hot swap is a brilliant mechanic and the story was pretty decent.
>they can run, but they'll only die tired
Bad gameplay, decent story, pretty disturbing themes throughout. It was actually banned shortly after release in the UK at least due to depictions of child abuse. Probably hit too close to home for their orphanages/boarding schools.
i played that shit, it wasn't terrible. spent half the game in the APC/helicopter waiting to respawn though
interesting healing system, and upgrade for guns.
if i remeber right doesnt it finish just as a bigger story was forming.
Xbox Live Arcade was a really strange place.
>There was also a similar but easier game called Butterfly about cyborg.
How can I find this?
Just remembered another game no one else played. This one i couldn't even find a decent screenshot of
what's wrong
with spacing like
this bro?
I liked it more than CS when it was in its prime. It looks clunky as hell now though.
Man, I've been searching for this game for years. It was called something like Butterfly 666. It was on CHIP's magazine cd. I've never met another person who heard or played it.
This game was really weird. It's like something in between of The Last Express and Pathologic but inside the space station.
Some of the writing is actually as good or even better than Persona 5 at times.
gtfo underage zoomer
Pretty cool socom like game
I remember older brother was playing this and he hated it but still payed it a lot
fuck smash this was the shit
Pivotal games rest in peace
>be high school band geek
>band director says we're going to play One Winged Angel for upcoming concert
>as first trumpet I have two solos in it
>braindead flute section can't learn their part
>One Winged Angel scrapped for song from pic related
>fun to play, but it's not Final Fantasy
>nobody even knows what it is so I buy the game to find out
>didn't even use the song in a concert
This guy went on to go make Dishwasher, Charlie Murder and Salt and Sanctuary, no?
Is there an archive of xbla indie shit or is it all just lost?
sorry man got that wh40 attempt of a game so that bumps the number up to 2
i loved that games when i was a kid, on pc, not the shitty psx version
had this on the N64, sadly lost it in a move to another state
Literally what is the difference?
My nigga, jetski level was lit.
I had that same disc, scared the shit out of me as a kid.
Played this.
I remember my card monster pretty much killing everything in this game.
Wasn't this called Penny Racers?
Fucking loved this buggy mess
This 2005 game called Anna.
It's a short puzzle game
It's alright
I have never once in my life seen this game posted on Yea Forums
Top racing game of all time
sure you havent faggot
that would make sense though since you started coming here yesterday
Some of my best memories of Videogames is fucking people over HARD in FOM.
>not playing the game of kings that is headball
I'll bet you have yet to kill a man with both of your arms missing.
This website is burning and I want to leave
where the fuck are people talking about project eden
>Spice up singleplayer with an awesome hotswap mechanic that would could be fantastic in a variety of different shooter games
>Nobody ever uses it again.
Literally why? This would've been awesome in something like Star Wars Battlefront
No one ever posts this one yet someone always claims to have played it. If you are not from germany you probably never even heard about it
>people post Rune, Syphon Filter, Enclave in these threads
These games were incredibly popular and Rune is definetly a cult classic
IIRC I got to the last level where they give you some meme gun and take away the normal guns
I didn't finish it
>the sequel is a braidead shooter
>Enclave
>incredibly popular
I have literally never seen Enclave mentioned on Yea Forums except by me and i bet you only know about it because of the steam re-release
Enclave has been heavily featured in most of gaming magazines in germany at least at time of release and has been at least 2 included as a game on the dvds or discs they hand out years later
Played this on Wii.
Fuck it was fun as hell.
Thanks for reminding me.
I had fun with Guns of Icarus
>captain smiley
>doesn't smile
Hmmmmm
Friendly Strike 2
My info is going to be incredibly vague but might as well try
Can anyone remember a Western RPG from the 90s or early 2000s where you could pick from several classes and one of them was a ranger or something that could tame animals? It also had a bit of a dark atmosphere
I played it when I was like 8 and cannot for the life of me recall its name or anything else, but I can still picture it.
Fuck off Sseth.
Damn, I am getting old.
What's the name of this game?
It was a 360 launch title you fucking dink, lots of people have played it.
Fuck yeeeeesss !!!
>lying to safe face on an anonymous image board
most people ITT are burger consolefriends
Btw you also had full games included in magazines?
This game is awful
>my favorite game of all time
>very rare outside of Japan
>received a sequel/reboot that made it into an anime game
>ported to PC and put on steam, but with such major issues that it’s unplayable
SAD
MOTHERFUCKING SUNSET RIDERS MY NIGGER!
Used to play this at the local pizza place all the time, sunk so many quarters into this fucking game.
Of course, sometimes even 2 full games
amazing game.
Didnt the PC port get fixed?
There are speedruns of this on yt, meaning it's popular enough to matter.
You could fill a stadium with the sheer amount of Wii games that no one has ever played.
You disgust me
Forgot picture. Sometimes you had even more games like 7 or so but those games were like pixel indie stuff that costs like 2 bucks or so
Don't forget Lightning 3.
This game sold less than 100 copies in its first week, iirc.
what game?
Game?
time for my Ace
rune
Sky blazer was the shit
sorry brother
WHY THE FUCK IS THE HEAVY GEAR LICENSE SOLD TO SOME BLOCKCHAINIGGER COMPANY UNTIL 2022?!
A lot of people played Advent Rising dude. The game was a rather notoriously large flop when it came out. God I fucking hate these threads precisely because of retards like you taking games a fuckload played when they came out and think no one did because you're probably some underaged Mexican who was stuck playing an original Xbox until two years ago so you go on and on and on about how Blinx is some underrated masterpiece and not a boring rightfully forgotten piece of shit.
bet you guys never heard of it
I fucking loved MAG and am pissed that we dont have a PC port or something. That game was off the walls fun, although I admit it was pretty flawed. Planetside 2 is the closest game to it but it's not the same.
wow this actually looks pretty fucking interesting
