>A small pile of rubble blocks the way in the forest, so rather than climb over it, the character kills four of the most powerful beings in existence
A small pile of rubble blocks the way in the forest, so rather than climb over it...
Matthewmatosis >>> Joseph Anderson
seems legit
mythology is full of the dumbest shit ever and that fits in perfectly
>Twin Princes establishes that teleportation magic exists
Why didn't the Ashen One just learn how to teleport to the Kiln of the First Flame?
How come none of the armies in Dark Souls' history used teleportation magic to their advantage? Seems very convenient
Matthew complained about multi-enemy encounters while Joseph praised them. Who's based now?
Is the rubble only there if you go there before killing the four "lords"? I never saw it.
If I were a video game character, my ultimate secret weapon would be a ladder.
B-but DS2 is actually good! It's the true patrician's choice! Too dumb to level ADP, haha? Deepest and best game in the series, most bosses, u-unbelievable depth, unlike the other pleb Souls games. I am contrarian so I'm enlightened!
N-no! It can't be! My nitpicking and cherrypicking cannot be refuted!
Why does the player model in Dark Souls 2 look so weird? Like they pop out from everything else in the game.
Hey Gilligan.
Jackie Chan video game when?
Garbage lighting because of the unfinished torch system.
3fags so insecure, imagine seething this hard
What does ds2 being dogshit have to do with ds3?
Same thread as yesterday?
Cool.
>Play through SOTFS on release (never bothered with 2)
>Hate it so much I don't even get past iron keep
>Come back to it last month
>Becomes my favorite souls game
What happened?
Dark Souls 2 is great fun and what I'd say is the most replayable of the souls games. The DLCs were the high fantasy peak of the series. Bloodborne is still better than all of them though.
>ANOTHER DaS2 thread
Keep going, tranny
mathew because he's right. DS2 just spams enemies at you hoping you'll get overwhelmed by the sheer mass rather than creative difficult encounters
the twin princes were descendants of literal gods, the shit they could do is not necessarily stuff ordinary humans can do
That’s not right
Is this image real
Please say yes
It's on different path that leads to a dead end. You probably missed the whole thing.
A game based ladder mechanics could be interesting.
>puzzle-platforming that you use ladders to solve
>Jackie Chan combat potential, as
suggested
>upgrades to the ladder's height, strength, flexibility
>implying they are the most powerful when this nigga exists
It's real, Looking Glass Knight looks like he's made of fucking plastic and so does the player armor
All of the prerelease images of him are pure bullshit compared to how he looks in the actual game
The fight takes place in a thunderstorm, and a lot of games simulate lightning strikes by turning on fullbright for a frame or two, so it's probably real.
>Who is Pinwheel
All of the prerelease images of everything are pure bullshit compared to how it looks in the actual game.
>Angel wings
>Crown of Thorns
Was Jesus a lord of cinder?
I had the same thing happen to me. Once you get into the groove of the game, I find it to be absolutely stellar. The problem is that your starting area options are all kind of shitty areas or boring like forest of fallen giants and tower of flame. Once you hit lost bastille, the fun kicks in hard.
Save us from our sins.
>player can see the goal early on, but can't reach it until after completing challenges
>this is bad game design????
I haven't watched any of your e-crushes videos about it, but I'm going to guess that they're all wrong and probably gay.
Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin is fun. Dark Souls 1 and Dark Souls 3 are also fun. Prove me wrong.
an asshole who was siphoning power from a god
We've had several, both on ps1 and GBA
I really don't understand this. It would have taken an hour to put in a big magic door blocking any way forward, did they do this intentionally?
>>player can see the goal early on, but can't reach it until after completing challenges
2 already does this with Drangleic Castle looming in the distance, they could've just made the Shrine of Winter part of the regular path instead of having an arbitrary roadblock, or at least made the walls or dirt around the archway higher so the player wouldn't be able to get around it easily
probably has something to do with the lightning. it wouldn't be so apparent if the game was darker like it was intended to be.
I've tried turning off my monitor, the game is still trash
The 4 legendary being in DaS II have no baring on the plot besides being supposed reincarnations of the 4 lords
They could've done that without using an obstacle a five year old could surmount, but they didn't, that would require actual effort instead of stapling together unused assets.
