I really liked season 1 of GoT, but every season after that was slow paced as fuck and it felt like the plot never progressed. Like, let’s look at Daenerys for example. In season 1 she gets married off to Drogo then gets raped by him. He dies and then she discovers that she is the mother of dragons. She becomes the leader of the Dothraki. Then in the next 5 or so seasons she just sits around in a temple and does literally fucking nothing.

I dropped the show a few years ago so I don’t know if it is any better now, but beforehand it had just slowed to such a fucking crawl and all the interesting characters had died or were involved in boring plot lines. I think the last one I saw was the one where the bomb went off in King’s landing.
