How will they ever top this?
How will they ever top this?
ONE!
>more than half the game is spent running to the spot at which you died.
Great design, so fun.
Cant imagine how you can top this pointless time wasting
Giant Centipede boss.
What the fuck are you talking about
do you propose infinite resurrection?
Then don't die, user!
I have never seen a post that so blatantly exposed a poster as a phony as this one.
Idk but maybe the inevitable Tomoe, prime Sculptor, prime Owl, or Dogen fight will.
I mean Father Owl was already the better fight so there's that.
It's not even as good as Bloodborne or DS3's final bosses. Not even the best boss in his own game.; Only scrubs who didn't learn how to properly play think he is a tough fight.
>DS3
>DUDE GWYN AGAIN LMAO
Nioh has one.
DS3 has one.
They already did, but you don't know that :)
Lightning reversal shenanigans with Tomoe.
I hope we get to fight a younger Lady Butterfly.
Maybe by making a final boss that actually makes a lick of sense.
>he determine the quality of a fight by the difficulty
>he thought fucking GHERMAN was harder than ishiin
Ah yes I remember when Gwyn was a dexfag and did backflips and used pyromacy.
SS is good but nothing special. Gehrman in BB was a fucking experience in and of itself.
bosses better or on par with SS:
>O&S
>Arty
>Gwyn
>Gehrman
>Maria
>Owl
Just to name a few
Hopefully not with another bloodborne shitshow like DoH, the Dragon or the ape(s), or even the fucking Shimichens. I'm glad that after all those, the final boss was you against basically one other human with a melee weapon (and some minor tricks)
NOTHING'S WRONG WITH ME
out of all the FROM games to complain about this and you pick the one where you can literally grapple hook past 95% of the levels.
Niohs centipede boss was fucking stupid
>when he gets on his knees, accepts his defeat and dies with honor
absolute kino bros
Never forghetti
Why do i need to do this? Why cant i just spawn near the boss that killed me with his hp restored?
Pissed off Isshin > No motivation Isshin
Besides, it makes no sense why we'd fight him with a torn bathrobe and his helmet. Why not just make the fight against him but have him dressed in his armor from the prologue movie?
This is like the only Fromsoft game with NO runback.
If you were complaining about Bloodborne I'd understand.
whoops wrong image
You can. Almost every boss in this game has an idol right next to it.
Gehrman was harder than Isshin.
You're arguably more mobile and dangerous in BB as you are in Sekiro
I thought Demon of Hatred was more fun.
You pretty much do though?
Genichiro, Ape, SSI, Demon of Hatred, both Owls, Lady Butterfly, every major boss in the game has a checkpoint less than 10 seconds away from their fight.
Ridiculous compared to DS/BB where you had 10-20 minute runbacks for some fights.
>The Owl
>NG+
>Demon Bell
>no Kuro's Charm
Living is suffering.
Hmm might give this game a shot if they finally designed a game for people who care about their time.
Maybe if you're a little bitch
If you cared about your time, you wouldn't be posting here.
>caring about time
>playing video games
user, I....
They're both easy. Memory Owl is harder than both.
Shut the fuck up boomer
I really want to love Sekiro. The regular gameplay segments like fucking with samurai in the castle or sneaking through a crowded camp are fantastic and I wish there was more of it.
The boss fights are fucking disgusting, though. The human bosses were almost all great, Genichiro in particular was fantastic as a sort of "have you mastered your basics" test. The animal bosses can fuck right off. The flaming bull, guardian and headless apes, the divine dragon, the fucking DEMON OF HATRED. It's like the human bosses were specifically designed by Miyazaki and he wanted to really ride that line between challenge and satisfaction, and then all the animal/demon bosses were just made by some bitter marketing exec who thinks the quality of an encounter is based solely on how many times it kills you. The Headless Ape encounter basically guarantees that I'll never play this bullshit ever again, the fucking Sword Saint was easier than that. The game literally writes new rules for every animal boss.
>deflecting does shit, you'll get chipped to death
>can't use aerial deathblows, despite them working on other bosses
>poison is basically fucking useless
I can't think of a single boss where there isn't a shrine right next to him.
>
I seem to have hit a nerve based on these angry replies
Dude was taking a shit in the afterlife when Genichiro summoned him so he was just in his bathrobe and shitting helmet.
He was relaxing when his good for nothing grandson summoned him. Barely had time to grab his helmet.
>people are gonna now pretend runbacks were an important part of the game as oppose to just outdated design.
Owl 2 is unironically easier than Owl 1, I don't understand this fucking meme. He basically just turns into Owl 1 during phase 2 but now he has some shitty owl spirit which hardly does anything and its attack is terribly easy to dodge. Owl 2 also spams stabs when Owl 1 never does stab attacks and Owl 2 phase 1 is just Owl 1 phase 1but with half the moves and a super slow overhead strike which leaves him open for 3 seconds.
Guardian Ape is one of the best bosses From has ever made. And he does work like the other human bosses in his second phase.
Demon of Hatred is cancer though
Headless Ape isn't even that hard and I have no idea why Yea Forums struggle so much with him. Use the purple gourd as a safeguard, but when he does the massive telegraph for the screech attack literally just walk forward past him. His sword swings are slow as hell and easily countered. When he does the massive falling slash you can counter that and it leaves him laying on the ground for ages
idk how it went for you but owl 1 is so easy it's not even funny
owl 2 however will change up moves and shit and maybe it was because I was on new game plus but like 3 of his attacks 1 shot me so I had to be really fucking careful
>I SHMEEM TO HAVE HIT UH ANGWY NEWVE
shut your hoe ass bitch
>Pissed off Isshin > No motivation Isshin
this
Shura is kino
>Genichuro doesn't pull you INTO the underworld to fight Isshin
>you don't find Isshin on his knees in a river of blood, a mountain of slain warriors behind him
>you don't get to fight him while he's a young man in his old armor
wasted opportunity desu
Ape bosses are easy though.
I loved Demon of Hatred. The key is just to never let him get away from you. You always want to be right beside his legs, and you just have to backstep 3 times when he leaps into the air and you can i-frame through the blast with the grappling hook. The only attack I could never get good against was that massive flame dance thing he leads with in the third phase
They literally just did. Bossruns in Sekiro usually take about a minute once you learn the path and there are bosses with literally no bossrun. You just spawn right outside bosses door.
Hook system is great since it makes you explore the area the first time you go through it and then skip it entirely once you get hang of it.
>say something ignorant and wrong
>get corrected without anyone insulting you
>GESH I STRUK UH NURV
kill yourself, faggot
YARE!
Demon of Hatred is a kino boss and anyone who says otherwise is dumb. He's great for the ring of fire attack alone
it really is just a battle of knowing what to do at the right time
the flaming dance for example does nothing if you just run the fuck away and force him to fight you outside of it
Demon of Hatred is like a DS3 or Bloodborne boss but you have no i-frames on your dodge. It's not fun to play.
Maybe it's because you're just retarded. Owl 2 is an absolute joke, and Owl 1 isn't even hard either. Owl 1 throws heal blocking bombs and poison clouds. Owl 2 just turns into Owl 1 during his phase 1 but now he spams stabs attacks but Owl 1 never stabs. Owl 2 has an extremely slow, telegraphed and easily dodgeable, overhead slam that when missed will leave him open for attack for about 3 seconds. They both have the same amount of health. Nothing about his fight is harder. The Arena you fight him is is even bigger which gives more breathing room. Hell, he doesn't even throw shuriken after jumping off wolf until phase 2, but Owl 1 does this from the very beginning.
If you think Owl 2 is harder you might just be brain damaged.
It's not like a DS3/BB boss at all
>it's a dark souls boss bc he's a big monster
Dumbest take desu. Most of his attacks need to be deflected or grappled to/from and there's only like one attack that you should punish with a bunch of strikes.
>Owl 1 throws heal blocking bombs and poison clouds
well yeah, you don't have to state the obvious, those attacks are easy to dodge and do no damage
The point is that touching the mist prevents the ability to heal at all for a while, you fucking idiot. Owl 2 does nothing like this at all.
DoH felt just like a BB/Ds3 boss you don't have to deflect shit dodging works just fine
bloodborne fags everyone
Divine General Tomoe Gozen
she can counter your lightning reversal
By not giving the boss a move that fucks himself in the final phase.
>Most of his attacks need to be deflected or grappled to/from and there's only like one attack that you should punish with a bunch of strikes.
The easiest way to do the fight is running in/out, around him and dodging a lot.
but the mist does nothing at all is my point, even if you get hit by it you can just play chicken since owl 1 is nowhere near as aggressive as owl 2
heh
I hope they go back to i-frame focued combat in their next game. I love sekiro but rolling though everything like a retard just isn't as effective.
Fuck, the eventual DLCs bosses are going to be ridiculous
How do I kill this guy? He's giving me more trouble than DoH or Owl 2.
isnt deflecting iframe focused though?
Orphan is harder than Isshin*
How can you struggle with Isshin if you beat owl?
>but the mist does nothing
It blocks the ability to heal. If wolf ever even touches the mist at all he now cannot heal if he takes damage, you illiterate fuck.
>owl 1 isn't as aggressive
They are both as aggressive as each other you deluded retard. Unless you have video evidence proving the contrary, you're talking out of your asshole.
When he Jumps up Dodge forward right. He'll be open for hits. Then Use the Thrust counter and use the Umbrella when he uses wind slashes.
yeah but you are just standing there when deflecting which isn't as cool
when I said "like a retard" I meant it, deflecting does open gaps for you to dodge and do the cool shit but that's too hard and it's better to just sit and deflect everything
owl is easy as pie
>First phase is just a bunch of recycled spells and abilities
>Second phase has attacks that are recycled from Gwyn's moveset
>The surprise of him having a second phase is ruined by the fact that every single boss in the game has an anime power up
Soul of Cinder was as lame and tryhard as the game he showed up in
I'm not being specific enough so let me explain my point of view
when I played owl 1 I could be on the offensive 90% of the time and if he decided to use the mist I could very easily spam attack then dodge on reaction
when I played owl 2 I was simply unable to use this aggressive style and the attacks he would use had mix ups, long delays, and one shot tier damage
as for the evidence of owl's aggressiveness, I beat owl 1 twice and owl 2 once, all I can give is my word on their differences
Maybe but for now it is certainly fromsoft's best boss fight
Sorry that you're such a brainlet
You CAN'T deflect anything other than his stomps because of fire damage. Most of the fight is spent running around repositioning yourself to avoid his stupid fire attacks.
Your word means shit since you're clearly brain damaged because you think that they have different levels of aggressiveness. You probably only think owl 2 is more aggressive because he has his anime tier ninja dash attack which is easy as shit to dodge and he tends to spam it. They are actually as equally aggressive in regards to pressure and Owl 2 has less fucking moves than the first fight, not to mention that he spams stab attacks, like I mentioned before (counter) and he leaves himself open to more damage.
They have the same health, Owl 1 blocks the ability to heal and throws poison smoke around the room. Owl 2 basically gives free hits because he loves to open him self up for damage. Like I said before, you're probably just brain damaged. You haven't even actually disproved anything I said. You tried to say that things owl 1 does don't count for no reason then tried following up with "well I beat them lol". Fucking idiot.
>You haven't even actually disproved anything I said
hey man I tried my best, that's good enough for me
Phase 1 (Genichiro)
>you shouldn't need help with this, you've already fought him. during his black blade attack stand behind him.
Phase 2 (Sword)
>mikiri his thrusts. he has a lot of them in this phase but be aware that they're very slow and hard to time. when he does the ashina cross, either run behind him or try to deflect both of them for major posture damage. remember that he has a delayed combo with 3 hits so be ready to deflect all of them. when he does the big sweep change, run away from him. he also has a combo where he charges a mini ashina cross or something and follows up with a sweep. deflect that attack and jump on his head right after during the sweep. this phase is pretty straightforward if you keep being aggressive - get 2 hits on him, deflect his retaliating counter, get 2 more hits, deflect the counter, etc. the further away you are from him the harder he becomes to read.
Phase 3 (Naginata)
>this one is tricky. he does a lot of thrusts in this phase during combos so be ready to mikiri them. the best and safest way to get damage on him is to bait his leaping attack, dodge to the side and punish. don't spam L1 during this phase or you'll get punished. his attacks are very slow and you need to get used to the timing. whenever he backs up, he's gonna fire his gun so be ready to block.
Phase 4 (Lightning)
>same as phase 3. Thankfully his lightning attacks are very predictable and even easier to take advantage of than Genichiro's. Stay calm and bait out lightning to finish him.
>prime Owl
Owl 2's memory says that was his prime
The parent is absolute.
By not making me whack that one cunt everytime i have to retry this fight
Just use ichimonji double on him, at the beginning it's a free hit.
Thanks for the tips, he's dead (again) now. I needed to block and mikiri more. The uneven terrain wasn't helping.
...you're a genius
animal fights are always "gimmick" fights you have to learn the gimmick and then its easy
bull is weak to firecrackers
ape phase 1 is weak to firecrackers, fire and EXTREMELY weak to mortal draw
ape phase 2 is unable to do anything to you as long as you have the umbrella and you can rape his HP after the scream
hatred demon is garbage but he is weak to malcontent and mist raven teleport places you outside all his combos
Hesitation is defeat
He was a proper final boss. Uses all the techniques you learned to counter throughout the game.
>dying to divine dragon
>beat Genichiro first encounter
>this happens and nothing changes
Wish they had a way for this to activate a no prosthetics run or something. Like shoehorn Genichiro getting a deadly slash in but without cutting your arm off, and you get a grappling hook that Sekiro manually fires but no other prosthetics.
Sounds like you want an entirely different game custom made for your weapons-grade autism.
He's not asking alot. I have to agree with him, it's annoying when you defeat Genichiro and still end up failing. They should have made it so you don't get the prosthetic at all.
the game has several areas, first of which is pretty early on, that you cannot traverse without the hook. think before you post.
Then allow different paths or simply give your character the grapple hook and nothing more, not that difficult and not a lot to ask for. Think before you post.
Took 5 hours to spank this fucker, fuck you Isshin.
STOP TAUNTING ME
This, Also Ds3 and BB final bosses were much more complex, and had much better AI
Final boss of Ds3 is Gael, although Gwyn is a joke in comparison to cinder
goddamn sekiro ruined all souls games for me, the fast pace, the tight combat, the less cumbersome upgrade system ( fuck hunting titanite ) and the mythical story are so fucking refreshing I can't wait for more games like it
I tried going back to play dark souls 1 and it's so mind numbingly mundane jesus christ, I got to capra demon and saw just how shallow and simple the combat is
owl 1 is harder than owl 2
prove me wrong
protip: you can't
Sekiro is absolute kino, I also can't go back to old souls games. My only complaint with sekiro is lack of diverse environments. I really wish they had some forests or proper catacombs.
>final phase is easier than every single phase before that including Genichiro
what the fuck were they thinking
>just got to lady butterfly
Literally impossible
when I reached sempou temple I was hype for slinging through trees and noticing that section lasted 40 seconds was super disappointing, maybe they weren't confident in their camera system (and they were right, the camera in this game is fucking ass especially in the stupid ass genichiro room or lone shadow in the tutorial )
phase 1
attack - attack - dodge left\right
attack - attack - dodge left\right
throw shuriken when she jumps
phase 2
throw shuriken at grandma sitting on the statue
snibedi snab :D
repeat phase 1 tactic
done
>running to Logarius after every death
Wasn't hard, just annoying desu.
why
>shadows of yharnam
No. this shit was not even close to hard.
>how shallow and simple the combat is
>dark souls
sekiro
>parry parry PARRY!
>wanna use prosthetics?
>not today friend no more emblems for you
>the prosthetics are useless?
>lol ofcourse they are, we don't want you to do anything else than parry
>you don't want to parry because it's not rewarding against anything besides low level enemies?
>lol then just dodge bosses and attack their hp directly bro
>you're only doing chip damage to them?
>lol just use the skills bruh
>they also do shit hp and posture damage?
>well just use the mortal blade for that big damage boost
>lol no more emblems
>lol
Because it ends up adding more depth to the game, something From is pretty well known for. Considering this game doesn't have a lot of build variety or in that case replay-ability it would actually only have benefited them to add something like this. It's obviously just a nice to have, but I feel it would have added a lot of depth and replayability.
you can already do a prostheticsless run, so why bother
Ye the camera is piss poor, but it's always been piss poor in all their games.
use the knife that gives you more emblems, you ding dong.
the only way for them to top sword saint is DLC but I have the feeling they moved on to the next project already, unless contractually obligated miyazaki doesn't like making immediate sequels and DLCs
you will beat guardian ape one day, I believe in you
Now I want a shitting helmet...
It's interesting because my experience was the opposite. Overall the game was a bit disappointing, but to me the highlights were the beasts (except the Bull, it's too simple and easy). The humanoids, I don't know, they were okay. Genichiro and Owl were too easy, died before I could properly learn them and Isshin's third fase was wasted potential, felt pretty anticlimactic.
Actually wasted potential is basically how I feel about this game. Thanks to all the mechanical additions and gameplay changes (particularly the Posture meter), you play this game with a unique mindset, but at the end of the day it doesn't play all that different from Dark Souls because other mechanics like Prosthetics, despite their usefulness, have an unfortunate execution like the emblem system that basically disencourages its use and any experimentation with them or that are almost never even properly used or integrated into the core gameplay and just feel like they were added late in development. Plus a (visually repetitive) level design that is harmed by fast travel (again) and a verticality that feels too simple and has no form of progression or the overall feeling that the game was forced to be hard because that's what is to be expected in a FromSoft game rather than making it hard when it needed to be.
I hope they're willing to go even further away from Souls with their next project, Sekiro was definitely an attempt, but that still fails to go all the way to be its own thing entirely. It's still a pretty good game though, just that being FromSoft, I expected better.
This, once I knew how to not get hit, this fuck was a blast
>someone doesn't like the games mechanics
>lol you just bad
good thing to know that you had troubles with one of the more enjoyable bosses in the game
there shouldn't be an emblem mechanic in the game at all
the fact that the prosthetics and skills are weak really doesn't justify the use of emblems, at least that way you could do something else than just parry
remove emblems, and let the mortal blade drain life
The amount of time you spend running back after dying is directly proportional to how garbage you are.
If it was over half, god damn how embarrassing.
By having the DLC boss be the person responsible for the fall of Ashina in the first place.
Or a 3 phase Tomoe fight, either one is fine by me
based
Stop dying then
Meh, yeah he was had but i didnt care for him as a final boss, which is fucking weird since you actually spent a lot of time with Isshin, but i just felt that aesthetically his fight is not really interesting, the whole Sword+Spear combo looks wonky, we just had a storm with Gael, the "flower layered" arena was better done with Gehrman and the thunder attacks arent intimidating but rather a sigh of relief in the 3rd phase, easy to counter for massive reward. The fact he looks malnourished (look at that ribcage) doesnt help either.
It felt way too much of a mishmash of stuff, Fire Isshin is a much better final boss aesthetically speaking. Also why the fuck would you bring someone to their prime without one eye? Shouldnt their prime be before that? He had 2 eyes when he beat Tanimura.
For the most part the prosthetic skills are very cheesy and do warrant some kind of limit on their usage. Whether it be emblems or a cooldown, something is necessary to prohibit straight up cheesing every single encounter. None of them should cost more than 1 emblem per use though.
I agree combat skills shouldn't require emblems at all. You should also be able to map several combat skills at once, like Nioh.
the only cheesy and useful prosthetic i can think of are the firecrackers, everything else is pretty limited and situational but it wouldn't be bad to have the ability to combo the axe or spear with your normal attacks
some variety is all i ask for, it's literally parry and basic attacks with the same katana from start to finish
Which PS2 game is this?
I cheesed every Lone Swordsman, Guardian ape round 1, and the headless ape's girlfriend with the fire cannon, both Snake Eyes and the ghost broad with Sabimaru, and all the headless and the sashimi ooga boogas with the purple parasol. Each tool has its use in the right fight.
>receive supporting loving comment
>spill shit down his throat again
at this point I'm just going to say you should go die desu :D
>there shouldn't be an emblem mechanic in the game at all
you fucking retard, if emblems were infinite you could just spam feathers and be invulnerable to every single attack in the game that is not a telegraphed grab, unironically hang yourself
just download the rebalance mod, ups damage of all prosthetics, lowers costs and each upgrade adds more to your overall limit of spirit embles (endgame cap is 50)
it's funny because this mod made sabimaru actually useful against snake eyes like it should've been before from soft patched it to actually fucking poison snake eyes
>I have to agree with my post
Weapons. Grade. Autism.
Guardian Ape is the funnest boss in the game. Fuck you.
>Yea Forums is one person and no one can have similar opinions
Honestly neck yourself
and because of the feathers every prosthetic has to suffer right?
there was absolutely no other way right?
Imagine if they started having rough sex instead, haha
I don't get it either. I died to Owl 1 a good few times, but I absolutely demolished Owl 2, and have never died to his second form. The owls fire rush is an easy read for a free mikiri, and his slow overhead slash is perfectly timed for you to get in two hits, dodge sideways and then get in one more.
Yeah well, the existence of a mod doesn't excuse sloppy design and modding a game on a first playthough is a bad idea either way. Personally I think that just with the emblems working like potions, with limited uses but infinite recharges on resting would go a long way to fix their implementation.
Still, I already finished the game and have no plans of replaying it anytime soon, if ever, but thanks anyway, I didn't know about this mod.
Why is spiralcloud worse than floating passage?
>limited uses but infinite recharges on resting
Isn't that basically how they work now? I always have 999 emblems banked. I've never been worried about running out, just rest up and refill.
I'll admit that part of it it's psychological, but even then, you don't start with 999, you start with very few of them so the game is creating a mindset in the player to use them very sparingly, when it should be the opposite, to encourage experimentation and practice. I think bullets in BB worked this way, so you can practice parrying as much as you want with no pressure. But even by the time you have hundreds of emblems, you may still not use them, in case you face a boss in which they're completely necessary and you don't want to run out of them or you're fucked (never happens, but you don't know that the first time playing).
I re-played Bloodborne and Dark Souls 3 after beating Sekiro, and the only boss that killed me more than three times was Midir, because of silly one-hit kill mistakes.
I killed Orphan on the first go. Parrying his overhead slams and revolving swings was very easy and the backstab visceral opportunities in the second phase were far more noticeable to me than they had been before I played Sekiro.
It's like Sekiro has actually "trained" me, in a sense, to be a better melee player for souls games. And through that, it had become remarkably evident how much simpler the previous games actually were, both in terms of boss difficulty and boss AI.
The claim that Gehrman was harder than Sekiro's final boss is utterly ridiculous, the openings for parries and lesser damage alone give you so much opportunity to just wail on him. There's so much less Rhythm to the fight.
SS Isshin and Owl father still cause me frustration even in repeat playthroughs.
I also agree with the user disputing the suggestion that "DoH" is just a Souls boss put in Bloodborne. What souls boss would require you to make regular parries for his swings/stomps, run half away across the map for regular attacks, and jump/grapple long distances to get back into the fight?
I got BB after playing Sekiro and now it's hardly a challenge except moves that literally one hit you if you mistime your iframe or gangbang fights where smaller enemies just stunlock you if you aren't careful enough. Levels also make it easy to just grind a few levels and just wreck everything because of that. If you actually explore everything you're bound to be overleveled because there's not much to spend your echoes on.
Isshin and Owl are massive upgrades in Boss design and difficulty. Customisation and skippable arrasarelacking in Sekiro but it makes up for it with how engaging combat feels. I hope From keeps experimenting with new stuff instead of making forced sequels with copy paste gameplay because fans and publishers want them to.
In regards of asking for sequels because of lore Sekiro's is pretty well outlined and explained in the game so there's not much need to expand it, I feel like it would only hurt the experience. DS's lore just got more shit as time went on and BB is Lovecraftian so it's supposed to not explain anything and level you wondering.
Don't you get like 1-5 for every single thing you kill? Let go of that RPG hoarding mentality and let your beyblades rip, user.
I can't man, I'm the type of guy that hates using consumable items in any game in case I'll ever need them and even when I do, I don't remember they exist most of the time. I only used pellets when fighting Isshin because I knew I wouldn't need them after this even though I had hundreds.
same thing but rome instead
Shadows weren't a skill check, they're piss easy.
I mean make defeating him activate a challenge run of sorts.
>43 votes
Awfully small sample size
But Gen was the real test, he literally gates you from getting to the halfway point. Owl was ezpz because you managed to get good before him.
Can anyone explain to me why Owl 1 exists at all lorewise, if you had already defeated him in the memory?
genichiro, owl, and isshin want Kuro's dick and the lifewater cum that's inside. That's all.
should not be hard since Sekiro is From Softwares worst game.
let me guess, the best one in your opinion is BB right? Why are you snoys so defensive just because From released a great game on all platforms?
best one is Dark Souls 2.
No it's BB stfu
Gehramn was legit fun, too bad MP was a shit fight
Calm down zoomyzoom, it was not that great of a fight.
I just loved the dumb kabuki poses
but the 3rd phase is a complete wash cause of lightning spam
Well, difficulty is all that Isshin has considering how forced the fight is.
>WOAH MAN IT'S WHERE THE GAME STARTED
>LOOK WHITE FLOWERS, JUST LIKE GEHRMAN
>OH MY GOD LIGHTNING, THIS. IS. EPIC.
In your opinion what boss is the Artorias/Champ Gundyr of Sekiro?
Sekiro doesn't have a boss this good
The only "people" who think the are the kinds of subhumans that like DaS2.
cringe and contrarianpilled
Owl 2 is the only candidate because he's the only good optional boss. And just like champ, you can easily parry him to death.
>I want to just roll through attacks
That was the worst part about all the later souls bosses. You fight Demon of Hatred by countering with the right reaction to his moves so that you wind up in a position to punish him, you don't just roll right next to him and hit him in the spaces between attacks.
They should have just changed up how the combat mechanics work in the first place by making your attack possibilities more diverse.
i-frames are an unintuitive cancer mechanic
>Artorias
>Good
>DkS1 in general
>Good
FLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOR
>MYSTERY NIGGAS as skill check boss
It was Gascoigne and nothing else.
