I'd like all the music in the series to return and you can customize the hourly themes to whatever you want.

- backpacks that increase carrying capacity and come in many styles
- bicycles you can ride to travel more quickly
- everything decentralized, your village is large and has everything in it
- writing that isn't totally boring; snooty should be really snooty, cranky should be really cranky, bathers should blather, resetti should be furious, nook should be shrewd, etc

Nothing, really. It was just Wild World (Right down to the music) but with better graphics. Its best feature (online) officially shut down in 2014, though you can use Wiimmfi. There's a reason it's mostly looked down upon, but at least it introduced cool new characters like Phineas and Labelle.

I honestly thought new leaf was nearly perfect but could use more features like
>terraforming projects such as rerouting the river, adding or removing ponds and rocks, moving villager houses (although I'm not sure how to integrate that last one into the game naturally; can't imagine everyone would be pleased being moved around)

>at least two or three more personality types

I'm very biased though since what made NL less fun for me was my obsessive compulsion of making my town as ideal as possible, and the limits I encountered.
I know other people are the same way, and even those who aren't would appreciate even greater freedom with the game. Basically, no one who's unhappy with their town should have to hack or reset as their only options.
