They asked us to fall in love with her and mourn for five minutes and then switch to camp Tifa 15 hours later, as if the human heart could ever work that way. The only people who moved on were the players who never cared that much in the first place, defeating the whole point of their decision to kill her (to make us grieve). How can they expect us to give a shit about trivial bullshit about clouds teenage memories after our love has been taken away? How is that even remotely important next to a person's life... not just any person, the sweetest girl ever, who loved life more than any other character even though she barely got to experience life at all. Prior to leaving midgar she had never even seen a tree. Her character was already sad and bittersweet and crying out for a happy ending. She deserved it. She was a survivor of child abuse by hojo.
