No. It's pretty to look at but the gameplay is stale, the enemies are all bullet sponges, nothing makes sense and the game is a waste of time.

The other BioShock entries are better.

it's one of the most extreme examples of "great ideas yet terrible execution". it's fun enough but really underwhelming and falls apart the moment you start to think critically about it.

My personal biggest disappointment. It has terrible fps gameplay that's repetitive, limited, and can even break at times because of the limitations set on you. It has a fucking stupid, pretentious story with nothing to offer, and the world bioshock is known for is now just so lackluster and shallow that it's a spit in the face to your intelligence.
It is the PRIMEST example of wasted potential, because of the setting being so good and everything else falling apart so fast. It is aesthetically pleasing but ended up being the biggest let down i've ever played. Don't waste your time on it. It looks interesting but it will be a boring pile of shit.

They took all of the gameplay elements that made Bioshock 1+2 so great and removed them

I'm really surprised by the hate IT'D. I found it to be an enjoyable game. It feels similar to Bioshock but different enough that it stands on its own. I enjoyed the story and the gameplay. I'd say for like $20 it's worth it.

I would say this is autism used for good. This explains in extremely thorough detail a comparison of the different games through time. I would rather read a review like this to get a clear understanding of what I'm getting into rather than IGN tell me it's gonna blow my cock off.

I'd just like to point out that the story was obviously butchered to make it fit around the fact that they rebuilt the game in six months with assets created for an entirely different story.
