Hey Yea Forums, it's Sunday night. Time to play some video games! Instead of Team Fortress 2, we're going to play some Obsidian Conflict. It's a Half-Life 2 co-op mod that's infinitely superior to Synergy (if you can get it working, that is).
Obsidian Conflict requires Source SDK Base 2007, which can be downloaded from Steam via the Tools menu. The mod itself can be downloaded here: moddb.com/mods/obsidian-conflict/downloads If you've never installed this before, go for the OC 1.35 Unofficial Mountfix (Full installer) download. It may take a while to mount all of the games it supports, but it's required for playing HL2.
IP: vidya.memesystem.party:27031 In the in-game server browser, uncheck "Show map list" at the bottom left and refresh the list to find the server.
You will need to have installed and launched Half-Life 2 at least once for the mounting program to mount HL2 correctly. You can also mount Episodes 1 and 2, HL1 Source, Lost Coast, Counter-Strike: Source, and Day of Defeat: Source in case some of the custom maps use assets from those games. These games probably aren't required, but don't complain if you get kicked for not having the maps.
Probably like 3 minutes, also its the mounter you worry about. Installer is fast, Mounter is kinda long especially if you have every source game. Mounter is in thet rhead
To be fair, we literally say in both the thread AND in TF2, what sunday's game will be, so you can have a day to get everything set up. but yeah the mounting shit is awful, we probably wont do obsidian conflict again

Alright boys, thats it for this week! We probably won't do obsidian conflict again cause mounting is shit, and we want the most people we can get on these things, while we had half a server full and it was fun. There was the other half that couldn't get in cause mounting games is shitty and dumb. Next sunday is either TFC or 1.6.
