Metal Gear Solid 4 is the best game of all time

MGS4 has better core gameplay than MGS5 but there is just so little of it and a lot of the scenarios are not conducive to using the amazing mechanics present

I tell everyone this and they argue until they actually grab the game. 2 is very boring, it's only saved by the first and final hours.

A big problem is that lethal guns are basically worthless in V, even though there's a million of them.

So which is better? A mgs with little to no cuctscenes or a mgs with full length cutscenes?

Really? I have fun with it however I usually beat it in 1 sitting.

It seems to me that you dont really know what you want lmao. To me is, the one with the full cutscenes(as long they are interesting like mgs4) since the mgs as series is a wannabe movie like game with some gameplay to break the ice

Metal Gear Solid 2 was the best. Just finished replaying it again yesterday. It has aged very well.

The problem with two is you have to play it straight after 1 to get the "yoooo wtf why is it the same????"

If you play it and don't remember anything about mgs1 it isn't as fun.

For MGS fans, 3 is best. Not because of empty fan service but it really is the most enjoyable and substantial experience for fans of the series. Outside of that, MGS 1 is the best as a standalone game.

I’ll admit that I can appreciate what’s being done with cutscenes to completely hate where PW and PP went with them, but I still prefer playing than watching, and the gameplay was better in the older MGS titles.

Mgs 3 had peak dialogue, a brand new gameplay(mgs2 was a better mgs1 i terms of gameplay, mgs3 was a real upgrade),interesting story and the best end boss fight. Also a kick ass soundtrack Pretty much a solid 10 in every category

Mgs4 introduced some great ideas like the psyche cycle, the ai for a cinematic game was pretty good but yeah the game's main focus was the cutscenes. I liked PW because the comic tone the cutscenes had, everything were so much in order placed in the menu that was amazing. Also we are talking for a psp game. It was crazy much they have squeezed in a catridge. The ps3 version that I played was an eyecandy honestly.

Needless to say, a ps4 60fps port of mgs4 on ps4 would be godsend to the fans but fucknami wants that panchinko money
