It takes a while for a single person to make something decent beyond a single scene/video. Gathering assets made by the community can only go so far when you have to apply rules etc. to every single piece in a level.

See this is a decent presentation but doesnt look fun to play at all if you just strip the sonic theme away. Gameplay will be weird like those sackbot levels in lbp that were fun until they stopped working.

there too many retards flooding every site with iconic game "remade" in dreams only to show how limited the engine really is. Stuff like the hovercraft demo, lama level or that puzzle where you leave a light print are all done by a single person.

Gameplay takes time, so they're going to come slower. Making a walking simulator takes 5 minutes.

I'm barely learning how to sculpt. I will try to add facial effects/finish modeling the tentacles, etc. I just placed the head I made on this body for fun and didn't think to remove the collar. Eventually I'm just going to make the full squid body and try to animate it properly.

I hope people make good shit because I dabbled with the creator and it's just way too annoying for me to accomplish anything. It's way harder than actual coding. I don't get the point. Doing loops and if then statements are a pain in the ass. The only convenient thing is being able to search for assets and get them instantly.
