By October of 2012 the series jumped to 46 million copies sold and this was because Halo 3 sold 14.5 million by that time and Halo CEA had reached 3 million while Reach stayed at 7 million. In 2016 Halo boosted its sales up to 70 million, Halo 5 sold 5 million at that time, we're in 2019 now and Halo's sales are at 77 million, Halo MCC stopped selling at 5 million which brought the series to 65 million, Halo Wars 2 didn't sell a million, and the Halo phones games didn't sell a million this means Halo 5 was the only Halo game still selling and lines up with Microsoft's it sold on par with Halo CE-4, do the math.

Agreed, what they've been saying about the campaign is making me interested, the new guy seems to really like the openness of Halo CE and 3's campaigns and plans to make bigger levels with multiple objectives to tackle in any order in a level while giving the players a massive amount of exploration, they also seem to want to continue with Master Chief's characterization going by the some of the job titles, continuing from where they left off with it in Halo 4 since Halo 5 ruined that aspect, I honestly can't wait for it. I also can't wait to see what improvements they made to the multiplayer as well.

I think infinite's multiplayer will be like 5 but done better. Gameplay will also be based on 5. Maybe remove and add a few spartan abilities but the core stays the same. I agree, I honestly think the campaign will be more like Metro Exodus and I like that. For the start 343 explained it as more like CE, so I'm guessing the Infinity will be attacked by Covenant and Forerunner forces and crash land on Zeta Halo kickstarting the game, Chief may be in Cryo and Chief will be woken up and given a new AI to rival Cortana and from there he will be sent out to get off the ship, protect the AI, and stop Cortana once and for all.

I wouldn't call it bad, but I also wouldn't consider it when weighing whether or not to buy a console. If you end up getting Game Pass for $1 it's absolutely worth at least trying.

This, it's mainly Microsoft's fault, they've been trying to fuck up their Xbox division for years, Ed Fries and Peter Moore prevented that along with Steve Ballmer, Bungie also prevented them from getting too involved with Halo. When those two along with Bungie and Steve left, it was open season, it wasn't until 2017 when Phil completely took over when Microsoft corp finally stayed the fuck away from gaming and let the division and studios do their own thing for once. 343 just takes the blame because they're the developers, the whole Halo 5 SP issue was caused by Microsoft not giving 343 more time and they were forced to put the Spartan Ops team on the campaign after the Halo 4 campaign team left.
