To elaborate on what I meant by "I heard it once before back in 2012", I started playing Minecraft at school on tryminecraftforfree.com. The version was somewhere around 1.5. Since I was a new player I loaded a superflat world to find villages. When nighttime approached the zombies started trying to break down doors and I heard the exact same screaming. I thought it could have been someone irl screaming in the school for some reason, but now that I heard the same scream, I know that's not the case.

I listened to all cave noises to make sure that it wasn't just some cave noise, but none of them even came close to matching, and there was no ambience or other noises with the scream.

I'm not making any of this up. I don't have any proof so it's your choice whether to take my word for it or not.

You can easily extract your current resourcepack and listen to the sounds in it.

If it doesn't match anything you've heard, it wasn't in Minecraft and you should start worrying.

Obviously you need to look for something before or during beta 1.5 if you really did hear the same scream then.

I found a strange old item that gave me an additional 2,944 block. I took it back to my inventory to sell and got nothing back; and the item was sold to me on the black market. That item was minecraft: ore_looter_frozen_potion.The inventory icon on the server indicates where you had a stolen item, but doesn't show which room got it. If that item was minecraft: ore_looter_nursed_potion it will show the item in your inventory.It's kind of funny. The item got stolen while I was trying to mine ore for a project and ended up on the black market with me being in charge of it. I haven't found any clue as to the reason for this (not really a puzzle as far as I know) but I'm curious.It's an odd combination of events. I haven't gotten that item yet though. then the "AHHHHHHHHHH" became funny again and so on I will just leave it as that, sorry if I offended anyone.
