How did I get an American Express card with such a shit credit score? I think I was 19-20 making about £300 a month and had a score of around 330. Online it says you need an excellent credit score to even be considered.

Just a warning to everyone who thinks they have a good credit score that a single credit card isn't enough. If you ever want a car or a house you're going to need multiple sources. So get a cheap car now and start building.

From the perspective of the lender: If they loan you money, there is a slightly increased chance that the loan is fraudulent, because it is being carried out by someone who stole your information. Fairness doesn't enter into the equation at all.
