Shut up, zoomer

It's fun

me not being completely worthless is also impossible, hence why i play video games

Because when they are realistic they're not fun

All you have to do is launch down something really massive or really fast. Doesn't even has to be somethign physical, since electromagnetic waves carry momentum.

It's very possible if you have a jetpack

this
it's why I carry a phonebook so if I need to double jump I'll leap and jump off the phonebook in the air to gain my second jump

How useful would double jumping be in real life? How would real life inertia work under you being able to suddenly jump after like say falling for 12 seconds off a tall building?

>his dad never taught him how to double jump

Haha you can't double jump in real life you fucking suck dude

>unpossible
(You)

Realism has no place in video games. None.

What if they made a game that was so realistic that if you die in the game you die in real life?!

Air control is physically impossible as well but games have it because of the limitations of digital input that prevent jump distances from being properly regulated with initial inputs.

but then it is not jumping

if you want real life go for a walk faggot

what if you had a magic artifact that gave you the ability or some piece of tech? you're retarded dude, did you even think about this?

it's like everyone on the Yea Forums doesn't actually understand videogames

>Not knowing how to double jump
I loved double jumping in front of plebs that couldn't figure it out in school.

It's only good if it's realistic faggot. Go watch cartoons if you're so scared of reality. Video games are where a person's mental skills and agility are tested to the max, the more realistic the game is the harder and therefore the better.

Magic isn't real dude, it has no place in video games.

You're the kind of fag that doesn't even know simple shit like running with your arms behind you

Maybe I'm in the minority but I don't remember having to kill greek gods at any point in my lifetime

mario and sonic do not double jump. double jumping is only for shit platformers

those are the feet

Jump jets you dumb nigger

or just stomp the air so hard you leap off of the compressed air underfoot

It is if the jets are on your boots.

DMC fixes that, you get airhike that is basically a magical platform.

>unpossible
me no understand

I tuck my legs as close as possible when I jump to vault over stuff better, it’s no double jump but I could jump over about 6 chairs with a running start back then

It's a tragedy I know. This is why you have to stop playing them and also making threads on the board about them immediately.
I'll follow you out go ahead.

If double jumps is the thing you picked to question for being unrealistic in video games then you should play more video games, it gets worse from there my young friend

I do it in real life too. Git good fag.

>unpossible

Thread shouldve ended there, OP youre one fucking retard

It doesn't have to be realistic to be fun. Game logic can stretch beyond reality's limitations and can still be understandable to the player.

>whytoid boys can't double jump
L
O

None of the best games are realistic in the least.

This isn't quite true. Realism is an excellent source of conveyance. When something works in a game like it does in real life, that mechanic is going to be much easier for players to learn and understand. That's not to say that every game should try for realism, or that realism is the only way to convey mechanics. I'm only saying t's a good tool for that specific purpose.
Realism is overrated by casuals, though. Anybody who would count a lack of realism as points against a game is a retard.

>he can't sky stride
>he hasn't even reached the first level of cultivation
lmfao @ u

On other planets you can because of the thick atmosphere
