C'MON! STAY LOW!
C'MON! STAY LOW!
Zoomers won't recognize this.
It's Area 51 Arcade
Shhh dont tell anyone who asks
Im 22 am I a zoomer? I loved this game. Place we ate at always had it.
ARGH
i didnt play the original a lot but site 4 was the tightest shit
Horse crap. I may only be eighteen, but this was in every cheapo pizza place and hotel that had an arcade.
Time Crisis was better though.
I wish the FPS resembled this game more.
Let me just casually walk into your line of fire.
TC requires a lot of real estate due to the pedals. Area 51 is the common man's LGS. Same with other games like the police academy games.
For me the most kino LGS is Police 911 with amazing legit working motion sensing tech
Carn Evil was the top kino arcade
When I played the home version of Time Crisis, i felt like we were moving toward the technological weeaboo future of my dreams. Holy shit it looked amazing.
how little we knew
>distraction milkers run across the screen
more games need this
this is why women shouldn't be in the military
so when you lost, did you turn into an alien? what exactly is the lore behind this game?
also is there any porn of the aliens?
The plot of the game involves the player (Peterson) taking part in a STAAR (Strategic Tactical Advanced Alien Response) military incursion to prevent aliens, known as the Kronn, and alien-created zombies from taking over the Area 51 military facility.
Thats it
Well that's the transformation process.
Phase 1 is the zombies.
Eventually your skin blows off and you're an alien underneath. (Like the ending of The Fly)
I think if one of the aliens kills you, they just rip your head off like a Predator though.
The game was clearly an homage to the best sci-fi movies of the 80s and 90s
i must have gone through hundreds of £1 coins at my local arcade on that fucker
when i finally finished it after weeks of trying it was the best feeling
I shoot only the humans I see and play alien mode.
Time Crisis and Crisis Zone were pretty much the ultimate light gun games. Being able to hide behind cover and choose when to pop out added a new dimension to the game, and made it feel more fair (even though it clearly still wasn't).
this guy knows .... if u shoot the first 3 humans? u turn into the alien .. i think thats how it waS
I remember seeing that in one of those novelty arcade mall things. $20 for two hours, that kind of thing. Either way, the motion sensing wasn't as good as it once was and it kept reading me as being within the play area even when I had fully stepped out. Otherwise, it was pretty cool.
>Area 51 Arcade
that fucking scene were the guy turns into an alien fucking scarred me for life
>tfw i autistically thought the future was gonna look like Garland Square, where the place you live will be a combination apartment building / mall / office
feels bad bros
>pay a full dollar
>dual wield
area 51 was top tier arcade fun
Did anyone ever do the thing where you'd become the alien? I can't remember what the mode was called.
Man that is a weird pic. Our biggest mall is 2 stories
FUCK THE FUTURE
I JUST WANTED TO LIVE IN A MALL WORLD
REEEEEEEEEEEE
this shit was fuckin lit.
I saw this broken outside my gym recently (used to be an arcade/playplace for kids in a warehouse)
I wish I had a means to take it.
You're alright, user. I think malls are rad too.
I sunk so many quarters into this bad boy back when my mall had an arcade.
Loved this game. Shotgun powerup is life.
