Are there any original ideas in Bloodborne?

Considering the fact that it's just Demon Souls 4, no.

Are there any original ideas in anything?

No not really, still a pretty good game though.

If you consider my dick an original idea, it’s currently in your mom.

Taken from the statue of David.

No, but I do know you're an assblasted sekirofag from this thread

It's actually more Demon's Souls 2. The combat feels similar and there is more emphasis on level design than world design. DaS1 is far too clunky and DaS2 shouldn't really exist.

There's nothing truly original left in the world, if you think that there is then you are an idiot.

are you saying victorian fashion is inspired by that shitty B-tier movie?

Trick weapons
Guns
Also I think it's the first Souls game to do multi stage boss fights?

Psychonauts

Underrated movie

Mark Dacascos
Underrated performer

Some DaS1 bosses had multiple stages, like O&S. I wouldn't be surprised if DeS had some too but I didn't have a PS3 so I wouldn't know.

Even the gimmicky weapons are from that movie.

Draws from psychic/esper culture, plus mind stuff.

Trick weapons are literally from the movie in the OP.

Does bloodborne has Monica Beluci in her prime cosplaying victorian godess???

Is it good? I just want to see BB's aesthetics in a movie.

Original? No.
Inventive and creative? Yes.

it's not like what you think it is

>trick weapons
The only thing remotely similar was these wolverine claws. Unless you consider swords made of solid bone and hand axes trick weapons.

The threaded cane is there.

Don't bother, the movie is pretty boring and super long.
Aside from the cool costume it has nothing going on for it.

There is litterally nothing of bloodborne in that game except guys with trihorns hats. Is not even the same period.

I've always thought of this as more of a Fable movie

>the clothing style is similar
thats the weakest argument tho

>transforming weapons
theres literally a retractable bone sword and such

>the beast itself
looks like something which would fit into bloodborne

all these things combined make me think they definitely took inspiration from the movie for BB

There's nothing wrong with taking inspiration from something. Otherwise all forms of art would be limited af

>Miyazaki watches a movie
>Makes kino

>This hack watches a movie
>Wastes a shitton of money on useless "art"
It's incredible, really

The only thought put into level design was Forbidden woods and Yharnam, though.

Mensis.
Also Research Hall, which is by far the most intricate, maze-like level in the series.

>Research hall
>most maze like
Aside from the rotating staircase, nah. It's just a glorified Duke's Archives. Had to actually retype my post because I got it confused with the school of mensis area before the nightmare.

>It's just a glorified Duke's Archives
Patently false, the level design is objectively the best and the rotating staircase only gives it more dynamics. Comparing it to that small, forgettable area is just a crime.
>*wakes up in a jail cell*
>oh damn, tower of latria was sick, can't wait to see how they improved it in this game!
>*blows through it in 20 minutes and forgets it ever existed*

nope

>>the clothing style is similar
They wear COATS and the rest of the people are pre revolutionary french, fashion of a century or more before victorian age.
>>transforming weapons
I can concede the bone sword.
>>the beast itself
Twas a lion with an iron armor, barely fitting in bb.
