Tomb of the Giants is one of my favorite areas from any souls game. The first time through is harrowing and I thought I was going to have a stroke.

The first time I encounter tallboys in Dishonored was creepy. Dunno why, they’re just guys in armor on stilts, but the way they moved along with the general ambience of the game just got me.

Why was it so fucking strong though?

I remember younger me actually getting upset and having to stop because I accidentally got lost there after Pinwheel. I just walked into it, hit the first bonfire didn't have the teleport yet had no light, and couldn't find my way back.

I genuinely thought that I would have to restart my game up until I stumbled upon the ladder in the dark by pure accident.

Giant skeletons were basically dead demigods

My first time through was hellish, and that's why I love it, I went too early and was completely unprepared and ended up stranded for a couple days.
It was a one of a kind experience.
