If I can recall one of the mechanics is you rubbing off the demon juice off from the body of the girls. It’s exactly what you expect and it’s exactly what it was meant to be. The only thing is you need to do this in order to lower their “berserk-meter” of sort or otherwise they will go haywire in the middle of a battle. With the rubbing mechanic removed there was no reliable way to lower this stat and at later levels it just become annoying as fuck to play since the monsters inflict the berserk meter build up much faster.

Moero Chronicles is fun user.
It sold stupidly well on the Vita and was one of the higher-recommended games. So much so that they apologized twice for running out of physical stock back when it released.
The sequel wasn't localized though because Sony legitimately wouldn't allow it. The translation was ready but they were denied due to it being explicitly lewder.

Everything from Idea Factory/Compile Hearts comes to PC. There can be a few month delay though because they typically don't start on the PC version until the game comes to the west since PC is extremely niche in Japan.

Industries move product like the internet routes data. When there's a restriction one place that doesn't exist elsewhere, it gets circumvented. That's why I think Sony is going to be hurting in the next console generation. Unless they're locking third parties into 5+ year contracts, no one is going to opt for their additional layer of content certification overhead, over and above the standard ESRB/PEGI/etc rating.
