It's the best for auto attacking. Not sure what is saying, it's literally better than supreme sword of light + hypernova sword.

Other swords are better only when using skills (falcon slash and sword dance)

I got bored after 30 minutes.
It holds your hand every step. Like I was trying to stealth through the dungeon but they hat cut scenes. They kept showing the simplest form of puzzle and how to pass a guard.

Luminary shouldn’t dualwield and doesn’t need to. Erdwin’s shield is way more useful for the MP recovery. Erik is the only character that has any real business dualwielding since he can offset the off-hand penalty.

Although it's not a guarantee even then, there's just too much shit coming out this late spring to summer.
Between ffxiv, wow classic, mario maker 2 and dq11 it'll be hard to stick with any one of them.
Then there's the possibility of grandia remastered coming out in the summer since it's been delayed with no announcements, the last splatoon 2 splatfest should held aaround summertime and I wanted to give chrono cross and xenoblade 2 another go.

To say my plate is full for the summer is an understatement.

True, but it's far superior to the utter ear rape fest that is the original music. You can also get addons for it that randomise town/battle/overworld music with remastered tracks from the other DQ games if you're looking for more variety. Bit of work, but worth it if the music is what turns you off playing it.

I actually do from time to time. It's just not interesting enough to keep me playing regularly, but it's pretty and easy enough to bring me back every few weeks.

The absolutely dogshit music doesn't help to keep me hooked either, but it's compensated with the size of tits of NPCs.

You can use a normal sword or 2 handed sword with the main character, but he also gets magic, mostly lightning based. There are plenty of other characters, in fact you don't even need the "main" character in your party, if you don't mind the cutscenes character with the plot powers being just a character your party carries around. The game has weapons like boomerangs and whips and claws and magic shit too, so there's enough variety for a turn based rpg.

fucking what? I played the game a few months back knowing almost nothing about it because a "family member" on steam owned it, giving me free access. Sword & Shield
2 Handed swords
Dual Wielding

Each character has like 3 weapon types they can use and skills that go along with making them better via a skill grid.

If you don't like your skill selection, you can reset it.
