it was fun if you knew how to avoid the sniper avenues and your team had good snipers to keep theirs at bay, since it was so flat and easy to snipe on. Very back-and-forth though, from what I remember, and using that tunnel that went underneath was usually suicide. I killed a lot of enemy snipers by spamming rollers

God I remember playing this back when the Soldier vs Demo WAR update happened. Everyone was just playing soldier and demoman to get the bugle and sword, so it was constantly just one team dying in their own doorway with nobody capping points.

toyfort only works if you have default respawn times. Fast respawn makes capping the last few points almost impossible, more so the bigger the teams are

Good times. I haven't played on that map in probably 10 years, but it was a permanent stalemate during a time when people had the hardest time breaking through sentry nests and even if you did get the enemy to the final control point you'd never be able to close it out because the map was always insta-respawn and the final control point is directly outside of the enemy's spawn.

There was actually a pre-Engineer Update time when people were playing on that map and then when the Engineer Update came out it got a whole lot easier to get on the bed and the dressers and shelves. Pre-Wrangler, you had to do a very precise jump off of a block and BARELY drop a Teleporter exit on the edge of the bed.
