As someone who bailed on the threads a week ago and has only come back to post this, the only thing that will revive these threads is if they raise the 99 stage cap.
I spent 3 weeks meticulously choosing which 99 stages I would keep. I can't think of a single one I want to delete, so coming to these threads is just pure suffering.
There's no point when you don't have save slots available and thanks to archival it's not even like you'll never get a stage if you aren't here at the right time.

THat's true for a lot of them, but there are some gems. My first bit of advice to anyone making a stage right not would be to stop making all platforms grabable. It gets in the way super bad.

the glitch is that in vs mode, not testing mode, the stage speeds up the fighters because of a certain amount of backgrounds moving i think.

Actually it's from Amnesia: The Dark Descent. I tried to replicate the water monster part (Kaernk). It's a bit messy, though. One of my first stages.

cool, also how do you get consistent half circles anyway, mine always come off as awkward and half formed when using freeline and the grid can only do line to line, thus useless when it comes to stuff like that.

It's not really that hard. Pick the circle tool and and start making a circle out of bounds. Now, make sure half of it is in the allowed drawing space, complete it, and you'll get the half-circle.

Someone needs to start archiving these stages for us poor hacked switch bastards, because there's a lot of really good ones in there and I'm starting to get bummed out that I'm missing out on them.
That, plus it'd be a shame for them to be lost once the servers eventually shut down.

Nah. Long story short, if you connect to a Nintendo server and they think something is off with your switch, they add you console's serial number to their ban list, meaning you won't be able to connect to their server from that particular console, but any other one is fine.
Of course there's a homebrew program that wipes your switch's serial number clean so Nintendo doesn't know who to ban, but at the same time if you don't have a valid serial you can't even access the server so you're kinda fucked either way.
If you're still interested in hacking your switch, know that this issue should be resolved fairly soon since emunand is on the horizon (basically means you'll have two switches in one : a clean "legit" one you can use for online and a virtual hacked one you can use to play pirated games/homebrew apps.)

Since lewd stage releases have slowed down, I planned to start archiving some of these regular stages. Right now though I don't have much time to do it until uni finals are over.
Nui is on my current save dump, I haven't gone through the process of uploading everything one at a time yet

That might not be such a good idea. Newer regular switch models have already been patched to remove the thing that enables them to be hacked. So the switch mini... I mean, I'm no expert hacker, but from what I've been reading around the homebrew scene it's very probable that the switch mini might not be hackable at all. Or at least not for a very long time.
All that other stuff is no problem though. Hell, custom music and model swaps are already here! Give it some time and you'll have some even crazier shit. New characters and movesets, new non-custom stages... Hell, some melee autists have already started working on a Project M kinda deal for ultimate.
Actually, now that I think about it, I need to go check if there isn't already some code out there to get rid of the level editor's size restriction.

A tool to adjust the individual corner nodes of an object, instead of having to erase the entire thing when you want small changes.

Mirror tool, copy tool, ability to attach objects across multiple layers, placeable spawns, ability to update/delete uploaded stages, ability to recolour all materials and a new flat-colour/texture material to go with it, more hazard types including water, and an option to decide the layering order of materials on the same layer.
