She even says she'd probably be better switching to forensic science instead of keeping up as a detective for the sake of tradition. Even after the game her biggest cases are the ones involving extranormal activity that regular detectives wouldn't be able to do anything about, such as investigating the Shadow Operatives and Midnight Arena.
