Seconding codename steam. If you can get past the art/graphics it’s a very solid game that plays somewhat comparably to valkrie chronicles. Very underrated especially after the patch fixing one of the flaws of the game(Long enemy phase times).

I would like to recommend Code Name: S.T.E.A.M. and LBX: Little Battlers eXtreme. The first one is essentially the 3DS' Valkyria Chronicles, while the second is an action-rpg where you battle using fully customizable miniature robots. Also is a pretty good list.

On a unrelated note, why do some Anons unironically recommend Style Savvy? What's so good about it?

non-existent, theoretically possible but nobody wants to work on it

it doesn't play like a typical mmz, because you have to tag the enemy before damaging & if you dont like that mechanic then you might not enjoy it
you might enjoy 2 playing as Copen since he has to dash into enemies & faster momentum when moving through stages but I found both 1 & 2 enjoyable

I got the striker pack on switch. Took some getting used to but yeah they’re solid games. Essentially anime megaman. I beat the first game and got to the ice adept with gunvolt and copen in the second game but haven’t found the motivation to finish them.

Avoid revelation. Conquest is generally accepted as the best of the 3ds games. Echoes is a pretty game with good presentation but plays like ass due to being an experimental nes game at heart. Awakening and birthright are alright I guess.
