Low poly can be very charming when done right. Would you rather Indies continue to use "retro" pixel art for the end of all time? I'm excited that indie games are getting bolder and experimenting more rather than going with played out 8 bit shit.

Unity is a decent engine for some type of games, but holy shit the amount of retards using this to pump out garbage is frustrating
Unironically any pixelshit feels better than all these memepoly games. You can tell just from a picture of them that they'll have that same floaty yet somehow constricting movement, uninteresting mechanics (one, two gimmicks tops), awful default sound effects, and boring ass color palettes. Pic related is a good recent example of how pixelshit is still being used at least somewhat interestingly.
lowpoly looks fantastic when it's textured properly, which none of this lazy nostalgia cash in shit bothers with because that's the heavy-lifting portion.
