They said they were expanding the content, and that they wanted to make the Midgar section far bigger and into its own full game.

Genisis will never get acknowledged again, Gackt is dead to them, they should never have based a character off someone in that way/

if they already decide to bloat midgar up and wreck the pacing (to get open world on next gen) i at least hope it ends with the kalm flashback or junon boat crossing. It would even fit for extra stuff and the midgar zolom as superboss.

The only episode we want is Episode Johnny, where you get to see the full penetration scene between him and Tifa. They regularly did it after Tifa closed up the bar back in Midgar as well, so that might be a bonus.

3 episodes to emulate the multiple discs could be a smart choice, Having to switch discs after Aerith's death gave it a lot more impact

Bullshit. FF7 is basically a 90s anime show, aesthetics and all. Stuff like Ni No Kuni (Ghibli anime style), Dragon Quest XI (Toriyama anime style), World of Final Fantasy (chibi anime style), Persona (modern mundane anime style), Valkyria Chronicles (2000s mundane anime style)... all prove you can very much 3D-ify any anime art style as long as you put some effort into it.
