NRS did a horrible job with the women of this game, any attractive models they could find, end up looking like shit in the final game, and the ones that ended up looking like the actual model weren't that attractive either. Fuck you if you think this game looks good, there is a blatant lack of effort on NRS's end and it's astounding that they approved of the shit that made it into the final product.

It's super dumbed down but in a bad way. You won't have trouble learning combos but overall tools every character has are very limited.

they scan the person into a 3D mesh and then have to edit it so it can actually work on a game since the mesh is like a million fucking polygons, it's supposed to look like the person you're scanning though in the end. However, where things start to get messed up is when they actually mocap the animations, if you don't use the same person, the face model ends up having issues since it has to adjust to that person as well as stay in line to the face model. That's why Detroit Become Human's models look like their face models while shit like DMCV and REmake 2 have very noticeable differences between the models and the actual character. Because of all the room for error, there's a lot of ways that MK11's character models could've ended up diverging from the model:
>NRS is that incompetent when it comes to fixing the mesh to be usable in games
>the mocap actors look so different from the models that it caused a lot of issues that they didn't bother to fix
>NRS willingly decided to change their appearance for some stupid reason(there is literally 0 reason to do face scanning if you are just going to change how they look in the first place, at that point just fucking do regular art)
