I have 2 functional PS3s that I keep out. A CECHA01 and a CECH-2500

I dropped it a few times, opened it a few times, and lost the controllers, but it's still in my entertainment center.

Because I still have a huge fucking backlog of games on it.

i have one of the slims that couldn't be modded for the longest time and now that ps3hen is out, I can finally use multiman and shit, just gotta get a usb hub because you gotta install shit in safe mode and i only have one working usb port

I have a launch 60gb and I would still be playing it today IF THE FUCKING THING WORKED. It was and still is the ideal home console. The only one actually worth owning.

Also have shitloads of great T6 and VF5 replays on it. Can't just get rid of it. Waiting for someone to find a permanent cure for YLOD.

I didn't keep my PS3, but I DID buy a used one about 3 weeks ago, and I have been playing through a ton of games I got for about 60 dollars total, starting with Demon's Souls.

I keep mine and use it fairly often. I always bounce between all my systems a lot. I still use it for those games stranded on PS3 and for ps1 classics.
