When does this get good? I'm about 2 hours in and I'm feeling some buyers remorse here

After Luca and when Auron joins the party

Never. You bought the wrong roman numeral, user.

Shit girl, shit game and shit remake

It's a slow burn, but so worth it. Stick with it, you won't regret it.

One of the few FF titles I actually dislike.

JRPGs are boring af

Bitch you wish, VII was great at the time, but so damn ugly and doesn't hold up.

X2 is a better game desu

Unironically like 8 hours in
FFX has a slow start even for FF
Also I hope you're not playing the PS3 version with its trash soundtrack

X-2 is a better battle system, but is not a better game. It shits on everything X built up.

I dunno about you guys but I love pretty much every moment of FFX

if he doesn't like it by the time he leaves Besaid though he might be fucked

t. zoomer

I'm playing on the switch, I expected it to look better but a PS2 game on a switch was never going to look good, is it worth trying X-2 of I don't like X?

FFX is in my top 5 games of all time. FFX-2 doesn't even break the top 100. But some people like the extra lore it gives to the world. It's pretty much a direct line from X, so it's really not worth doing if you haven't experienced X. I urge you to stick it out.

I mean I love it, but I can see how somebody would be bored for the first act of the game.

I feel pretty much the same way.

cope
i didn't even mention vii

Then why post a picture of Tifa? Misleading at best.

FFX opens up more once you get Auron

FFX-2 is a great game sans the girly story but if you're not into X you more thna likely won't enjoy any of it.

Just play X-2.

Anyone can post a picture of Tifa any time they want. But in this context, no one has the right to become frustrated when they get misinterpreted.

Why give this advice? Honest question.

Congrats on figuring it out when everything went wrong with this franchise.
