I heard it gets really repetitive when you get into the 16 bit part of the game

Its one of the best games ive played in the past few years, i wholeheartedly recommend it

It's a Ninja Gaiden style game, if you ever played the NES ones you know exactly what to expect.

$20 tho yikes

Initially I found it a bit hard to get into, but I really enjoyed it and managed to get all of the achievements.

Controls are real tight and the platforming is nice, but nothing breaking new ground. It's just a solid game.

Literally the best singleplayer game i have ever played
And literally the best soundtrack ever made, and it's not even close
Can recommend if you like 8bit stuff and metroidvanias

If you're playing because you want a metroidvania, don't. It does that genre in one of the worst ways possible.

It's good but the green coins are NOT worth going back for. The reward isn't that great and not worth all the back-tracking.

If you like NES Ninja Gaiden go for it.
It's not Metroidvania.

Its fun, but super easy. I wouldn't buy it for more than $5. If you're bored and have money to burn then go buy it and have fun.

I bought it on sale a while back. Totally worth it!
Fun nes/snes style gameplay with addicting soundtrack.
One of the few games I 100%ed.

Just play until the non metroidvania part, then it becomes a slog
