Was discovering Blackreach one of the coolest moments in video games

no

blackreach was cool af, would visit again

One of the most dissapointing, I'd say. Literally nothing interesting in there, other than the underground dragon. Skyrim is completely soulless.

>found a cave dungeon in skyrim

Everything in Skyrim is just barely realized. Good surface level fun, no actual world build.

The only area in the game that looks somewhat original.

It’s just a place user. In a game with destination markers. No it isn’t cool.

Heh yeah these new games dont impress me anymore. Not like them Atari games. Remember how deep and soulful the gameplay was in Pong? Skyrim doesnt even compare.

I spent many IRL days in there looking for stuff.
I was so glad to finally get out of there, but I'll be returning in my VR playthrough soon enough.

>Skyrim
>new
it's been 8 years bruh

entering the Capital Wasteland for the first time was cooler

too bad the game's ending was as shitty as the beginning was awesome

I really like Skyrim's opening scene, the magic wears off when you realize that every dungeon is copy/paste and everything looks the same

I remember booting up Skyrim as a kid every day after school and despite what Yea Forums says it's seriously a masterpeace
inb4 underage, I'm 22 now you fucking boomers

>discovering
I went where the marker told me to go, then kept following it once I got there. I spent 10 minutes in Blackreach.

>14
>kid

Blackreach was cool, but unfortunately that does very little to alleviate the fact that 95% of Skyrim locations were just draugr copypasta shit.

Just like BotW

>Just like every open world game
fixed

>discover Blackreach, think it will be really important
>absolutely nothing of value

Not the same thing, although I do agree.
The feeling of finding it was great, but that soon evaporates when you realise there's nothing fucking there.

It was pretty cool, I used to love skyrim, shame the combat is boring and shit and is luke 10% of the game while the other 90% is just traveling or talking to npcs.

BotW at least had fun combat and lots of enemies around that would respawn.

Shame about the disposable weapons and lack of npc followers.

Would have been better if it was something you had to discover for yourself and not something quests took you to.

God...I....w-what?

>inb4 underage, I'm 22 now you fucking boomers
And yet you still talk like an underage.

yes

>when you fus ro da that thing and it summons a unique dragon
was pretty cool desu

its depressing
>dude big ass underground cave
>lol nothing to do in it though

I liked skyrim but blackreach was mediocre imo

Blackreach is a perfect microcosm of Skyrim as a whole
>Incredible, expansive vistas concealed within clever geometry and caverns
>astonishing when you first see it, woah, look at this vast and cool playground of things, i wonder what dangers lurk within
>actually completely devoid of anything of meaning or note
>nothing to do
>nothing in it except somewhat satisfying layout
>someone better mod this quickly
Just like all of their games tbqh

Discovering your mothers pussy was even a cooler one
