4k is a meme, refresh rate is what matters for gaming.

>4k
enjoy your 60hz or $3000 price tag

There isn't one but wait for 120 or 144hz ones. Any money you spend on WQHD or HD at this point is wasted

LG 34GK950F
was torn between this, the BenQ EX3501R
and the samsung CF791 (both of the latter VA panels). All of them solid choices, (900 burgers up to 1.2k (950 on discount for the lg though), all of them 100mhz+)

tft central is your fren, it has all of the ind epth reviews for this 3 models. The lg is overall better and ips, i'm a bitch for ips.

Ultra wide 1440p is still 1440p, not 4k.

not quite.

How much does shilling pay these days?

ah, crap. actually you're correct. you got me there.
it's just that it's the stuff i've been looking and I selectively missed out on 2160p stuff. yes, I don't think there are 120hz+ panels for those yet.

4k 144 hz exists now, but prices start at like $3000-7000

>x1440
That's an ultrawide form of 1440p, not 4K

3 different brands.
I just started reading reviews for them yesterday.
and the tft review isn't entirely flattering neither, the one I chose for myself has no basically no HDR, only in name, they very explicitly let you know it's a marketing gimmick in the case of that monitor.
I even said to look into va, which I personally and irrationally dislike. fuck off bitch, you have no idea what shilling looks like.

WQHD is 1440p dummy

Refresh rate is a fucking meme. You won't magically win more CS:GO (or whatever competitive faggotry you do) because you bought one.

Unless you're also using PS/2 peripherals, then you might notice a difference beyond placebo "it's so smooth." But I'll bet you don't even know why PS/2 is superior to USB.

SEETHING 60hz tranny detected

acer predator 27"
1.6k on amazon.

4K gaming is trash
1440p is the sweetspot

copelet detected. i guarantee you don’t own a machine capable of running 144fps

A zisworks kit with a Samsung UH750 will do 4k@120hz, has great colors since it's a 10 bit quantum dot panel, 22~33 microseconds of input lag, and is TN so the pixel transition time will be good and thus motion will look good. That being said a 1440p 120-165hz IPS or TN, depending on if you value colors or less motion blur more important, is probably a smarter choice.

>one year later
>4K is the norm
>1440p a laughing stock, monitors literally in the trash bins
It's like "just go for 1680x1050 bro, full HD is overrated bro" all over again.

>4k norm
>consoles still struggle to reach 60fps 1080p
heh

>4K is the norm
try 3 years

Literally nobody ever shilled 1050p while 1440p is already quite established

(a bunch of "1050p For The Future" commemorative buttons fall out of my messenger bag with a clatter and I scramble to pick them up)

You know you're desperate when a quick shitty fanfic is your best retort
