Mary Skelter 2 and the Mary Skelter HD remaster are coming to the west for the Switch

So are there really people that will buy the HD remaster because they don't want the rebalanced version?

Fixes most of the problems people had with the first game.

Japanese people liked it from what I can tell. Seems like a good remake.

nah iirc it makes some lategame dungeons smaller(since they were way too big), fixes balancing issues like Jack having constant speed so in lategame he barely ever gets a turn and cant heal the girls corruption, etc

I hear something about the touching game getting censored out of the PS4 version. Is that still available on the JP PS4 version? If I update, does it disappear?

They said in their E3 plans press release that their E3 Direct will focus entirely on software. They won't announce a revision at E3, I wouldn't expect them to at least until close to the end of the year if not next year.

Don't update. For an earlier comment I was browsing the amazon reviews and somebody was complaining about newly introduced bug in a later patch ruining the game. Dunno why or what exactly was the problem, but probably better not to do it.

That depends if Ghostlight or Idea Factory handles the PC port like with the original version.

No Switch version for Japan, but simply got delayed a bit for the West. Will release together with the PC version now.

They don't want to/can't remove the rubbing minigame (completely broke the Chinese version where they had to remove it) and Sony in its current state won't allow something like that.

Because Sony already fired censor lightguns on other CH releasesa and PS4 version cant release with rubbing "minigame"

It's the same deal as pic related and Gun Gun Pixies (Vita game in Japan that became a Switch exclusive in the west because it can't be released on Sony platforms now), the Switch version is also releasing in Japan presumably at the same time.
